  1. That's my old bike good to see not a single part has changed since I sold it about 6 years ago. Surprised that rear rim is still going, best improvement to that bike would be switching the rear rim to one that holds a proper grind and maybe rolling the bars forward massively.
  2. cheers, I may try get one if I can find one.
  3. How you getting on with that rocket ron up front?
  4. Awesome riding as per, but something just didn't click for me perhaps the tune.
  5. Id find it very hard to choose a frame with snail cams after running these on my Echo worked with my pro 2 like a dream!
  6. Does it display the same characteristics with a good clean and a grind or have you been running it for a while and worn them in? from the angle of the photo it also looks like your pads could perhaps be more central to the rim.
  7. Was gutted to see he still had his breaks on. (Scottish joke)
  8. I had a the very bike back in the day yellow 99 f700 head shock was f**ked after a few months ended up getting a set of Manitou answer spyder forks for it (elastomers lol) with reducer cups to fit an ordinary headset if i remember correctly they were cane creek reducers. Always keep an eye on the pannier bolt area of the seat stay wish bone, this is where that particular model tends to crack and fail.
  9. I wonder how many DH riders would be able to carry on racing DH next year at top level if they relied on just one sponsor for income and support? Hopefully this situation will push Gilles and other riders to think a little bit more out of the box when it comes to sponsors which will help attract more attention and money from outside the sport.
  10. I really hope they are expensive or Ill end up with a rainbow bike.
  11. Good lad spend your money while your still young enough to enjoy it to the full! Build looks like its gonna be a beast!
  12. Looks like a good time for Trialtech/Inspired to start work on a comp style frame if they haven't already, as a trusted and respected company i'm sure they would flourish even more. As for the riders Im pretty sure they will have to be a little bit more diverse in looking for sponsors instead of just relying on one. Lets hope they start making some sweet vids.
  13. Chris Millar's Marino! was on the first page with dmr tyres etc this is it now, much better!
  14. You can buy Bolt on disc cogs and use an old front hub with a cheap axle spaced to whatever you need pretty simple. think velosolo had the kit but easily doable on a budget.
  15. Im gonna put it out there and say Dunc Shaws green Inspired with chrome rims and cranks is the best looking I have seen in the flesh!
