  1. Well, Im new to disk brakes, used the standard/shite v-brake for don't know how long ><' I recently bought a Carrera Fury 07 ( Instead of my mates pitbull 06 >< i know ) - and i just dont f**king know how to adjust the f**king things, they keep rubbing and i dont want to be taking it back to where i got it from to tell them to fix them.. I haven't got a pic atm, but i think google has - sec. actually, wtf am i on about i have one :< i mean, how retarded am i, i can't even adjust a f**king brake :> Help
  2. Well, after like 12321123313 Hours in Halfords (I know why halfords?!!!!!) I came to the conclusion - that the Carrera Fury 07 was the best bike in my kinda Price range but i know, i could of got a good cheap Trials bike (Some kid was selling an PimP'd up z00 Pitbull) but i ride every day..so i dont think a trials bike would be very good at every day commuting But, what you people think about it? £500 for the 07' Good or bad decision?
  3. Well, is bike insurance actually worth it? Just bought a Carrera Fury 07 - not a trials bike i know, but i thought why not.. its a f**king beast though (L) which cost £500 (well £550 but got £50 off ) and i google'd ' cycle insurance' and this is the first one that came up... and its actually the cheapest CycleGuard dot co dot uk (first option) and i typed my post code and my bikes value and it came to £39/year or £3.67/monthly (which i get charged 29% apr for..so im like paying £20 more then yearly) but, is that actually worth it?
  4. To be honest - Yeah all the above is true but when i used to do Parkour (i was newb at it ><) i used to listen to some Dutch genre Called Jumpstyle, Seriously its f**ken wierd - but puts you in the mood for anything, of if you want harder bass deeper beats - another Dutch Genre called Hardsytle I LOVE THEM BOTH - Especially the mix tapes <<333 (L)
  5. Whats the best Music when riding Trials? I would make a poll - but seeing as i'm not a Full member i cant ...well anywhore, I prefer a bit of Drum & bass (When riding) not sure about Trials, because i don't have a f**ken' trials bike ><! but, how about you? I also like a bit of opera - ***!
  6. Hhmmm First off, good idea.. if it went in the right direction, you never know..Might have a little enterprise on your hands, and before you know.. BooomOKMM)SODMSODFMSOJFo fJNADOIFJDiom - Yeah ok, a little over the top.. but ..it would be nice : DIm not good with the names, But a few suggests maybe Creati1ve. ( Or cr3at1ve.) Insp1ration Cycles. Something like that. By the way, i kinda like the idea of the use of numbers in words, i think it looks better.. - but thats my personal opinion, Rich-fat-stuck-up-cu|\|ts may think otherwise. But, maybe if you get passed the design and actually start to make stuff.. I'll sure try them out, Have a Review from a Pro and have a review from some newb ;D And if it goes any futher, i can proberly provide you with some hosting. So, Good luck xxxxx
  7. one more? armourdillo - does it protect the frame? ah, off topic but i've been told Van shoes and a Giro helmet are good for starters?
  8. Hey, well, ask you can proberly tell im new to the whole ' trials ' scence, i ride on/off road.. so my bike language (i've heard Cycle speak is another word) is fairly dimm.. What i mean is, im used to talking about V-Brakes, Tyres, Seats etc etc. But since coming here, im like literally stuck on the ammount of abbre' Maybe this isnt the right way to ask about it? But could anybody tell me what some of the words (Argh, this sounds confusing >,<) I mean, STOCK, MOD, i know what those two are.. but hs33? i think thats a type of brake stuff like that GreetZZzzzzz
  9. Rofl I once rode through my school with some guys weed.. in the middle of class I got raped by the p0l1ce.. but let off... Sounds like me, i gotta try alcohol and trials.. sounds like a good combination to me
  10. Hey steve, First off, welcome im new too I used to ride downhill too, then trials..then both my bikes got robbed, so i just rode off/on road for like 5 years.. and i've had enough of being a computer engineer, i just wanna ride now, so im getting back in the whole ' trials ' scene - when i used to ride, i wasnt good..but had the hang of most things... But im guessing i've forgot how to ride trials >< so im in your situation. That site ' darrenhopper ' suggested (http://www.trashzen.com/) seems the shiz.. GL & HF GreeetzZZZZZZZZ Kings
  11. Ahok, So van shoes and a Giro helmet? - I'll make a note of those. Is there anything else essential? GreeetzZZZZZZZZZ Kings
  12. Ah ok, but ..price tag? Bit expensive ..£75 for a pair of shoes Well, i guess quality better then quantity Oh, and how about Helmets? any particular good make?
  13. Ahha, Thanks for the replies (Fast aswell ) Yeah, ok.. i exsagerated about the whole ' rape '..but it wouldnt suprise me if it really did happen So anyone know where i can get some try-all shoes from? would normal shoes do the job? maybe if i get some double sided sticky tape..and strap that on to my pedals, should work though, ay? (-.-) Hmmm, well im going to have to get usesd to the whole pressure thing, normally ride at 55 so 20 would feel well wierd and as the the brakes, i dont even know what kinda brakes the one im buying has, going down to see it ..anyday soon (I hope) Ebay and google bring back shiet for Try-alls
  14. Hallo, well.. as my other posts say, im geeeeeettting a z00 pitbull, my other trials bike got robbed.. so did my kona..so.. i just rode off/on road..but now i really wanna get back into the whole 'trials' scene, I cant remember what my old bike was..or any specific things. But i have a few questions that should hopfully clear some stuff up, Firstly What Tyre pressure is ' best ' ..i know this is bit of a dumb question, its proberly dependant on the rider, but i have my Raliegh @ 55 Pounds / square inch.. So what type of range is most effective? i got told 15-25 but that just seems to low to me. Secondly, what brake is better on the front, i know this a tight discussion on here..but i really cant be bothered to read for 323232123123 posts ..so some one just put it straight to me xD Thirdly, what kinda shoes are most effective, at the moment i would class my self as an ' indie ' type of person, so i just wear tshirt jeans..and some white lonsdale.. but..lonsdale are only good for one thing..and thats ...well..i dunno..but they arent riding shoes anywhore, and i dont want to wear ' sick ' black ones, that make me look ' emo ' or greb.. no offence to them or anything..but where i live..if im emo or gred....the chavs are going to start a fight on me no doubt..and i ride by myself..so 12323123211232+ chavs v me..(and my z00)..and ill proberly get raped..and my bike get robbed.. soo, i really dont want that too happen (dont care about the fight.. xD..just not my bike!) so any shoes anyone suggests? Thats about it,...i think
  15. Lol, didnt think everyone would be soo.. .whats the word? Welcoming? xD Well, my mate has decided to drop the price to £450, which is always good news.. He told me he spent £1000 plus on it, so £450 is f'in superb. & Yeah, Birmingham focking sucks, too many poor children(or men ><..or even girls ><) who get jelous and decide they want something that someone else has got. So yeah, DONT COME TO BIRMINGHAM But, im still newb at trials, like..whats the best Tyre pressure etc.. I heard disc breaks are the best on front, is that true ? and how expensive are the parts for z00, cus' knowing me, i'll attempt some sicko jump and bail-out half way and my z00 will go flying and smash into somes car and the crank would proberly break >< (omfg...how many ands xD) Thanks again Kings kissy xx
