  1. I don't think he said anything that justifies you calling him a 'wanker'. There's far too much needless abuse on this forum, and far too much pedantry regarding spelling and punctuation. Live and let live!
  2. 24!! i'm 35 and have just started up again after about 8 yrs of not riding. good luck, and remember, you're only as old as the woman you feel
  3. hello from another old geezer
  4. Could i send back skills rather than bits? that thing where riders land on the front wheel first when gapping etc is the biggest change i've seen in trials since i started up again, no one did that years ago and it looks excellent.
  5. nice flat shoes like airwalk one's or the various waffle sole vans and v12 style pedals.
  6. Hello, as someone who has been completely out of the scene for years, I've no idea about the bikes around at the moment. Can anyone recomend some frames which are quite long. I used to ride a Kona which has quite a long top tube, and i don't really want a trials bike which feels too short. Cheers, Fletch.
  7. Hello, I'm Fletch. I used to ride many years ago but got bored with it all and gave it up for the best part of ten years. I'm trying to get back into it, but it's all changed alot since 'back in the day'. First stop, new bike!
  8. Hello all, I used to ride years ago, and was thinking about starting up again. The whole scene has changed loads, and i was wondering if you guys could give me some advice. Firstly, i want to start by buying a frame and forks and using the bits of my old bike to reduce the initial cost. Do new frames still have v brake/magura mounts on them or just disc mounts? Also, is there any diffrence between frames with seats and without, or is it just down to personal preference? Can anyone recommend a frame and fork, not to expensive though. I used to ride Konas, so would like a frame which has quite a long top tube. Lastly, does anyone know of any comps in the south-east? cheers. Fletch
  9. so someone new posts something, and all you lot can do is take the piss out of his spelling and grammar?
  10. hello, i posted this a week or so ago, got a few replies and then my computer broke and now i can't find the thread. i was trying to find out if there are any comps in the south area, i'm in brighton. i haven't ridden for years so it would have to be a fairly basic standard. cheers again, sorry for the hassle.
