  2. Hi guys, Just a few shots I got on last weeks brum ride, only just managed to upload them. Give me a shout if you want the full size ones. Cheers, Seb Edit: not sure why it won't display them, but just right click on the "IPB image" text and select "view image".
  3. I never said they were amazing, was the first time i'd used my new camera for trials. I know the fish eye ones arent great, it was just fatmike had a fisheye on his camera that fitted mine, and id never used one before and fancied a play! I'll be out on the hallowen ride with my camera hopefully will get some good shots then. Cheers, Seb
  4. Make it brum and ill be there, haven't ridden in ages and don't really like group rides. In which case ill be a long photographing the whole day (Y) Seb
  5. Ive had that bottom braket for over 2 years and its till fine. I am quite smooth but i still go fairly big. Meh i've never broken a bb anyway, i dont see how people do it... Seb
  6. Im in birmingham from the 12th onwards, so any rides happening after that i'll be there if i know about them... Thanks Seb
  7. Hello, building myself a get around bike, also to mess around in park, street and dirt. I want some cheap wheels so i was gonna go for a crc wheelset. Ive decided on X721 rims, as they will be the best but as for hubs im not sure. The deore, dmr revolvers and gt hadley hubs are all around the same price, but what is the best option? Thanks for any help/advice. Seb
  8. Thats exactly what i'm doing really just popping bits together from my garage. But im missing a rear wheel and got a shitty front one. Ive looked at the hubs a bit closer, and i think ill go for the dmr ones, as i have a deore and they come loose as they are not sealed. What is the freehub like on the DMRs? as i would prefer to run 9 gears, but if theyre a bit shoddy might just go single speed, after ive been using a bmx for the past year with no problem. Thanks Seb
  9. like austin, except after the 12th, thats when i go back up to uni in birmingham. Although i dont like group rides too much, ill come out with my nice new digital SLR :- Seb
  10. Brighton Trials - Video 8 9mins 15sec - 51.9mb click here to go to the download page... We hope you enjoy... Seb, and the amcasproductions team
  11. Here is one i quickly did, I'm sure my brother (lux) will come up with something better when he gets home. Seb
  12. I ride the plazmatic v fly pads. Running on a worn grind with an avid ultimate and xtr lever. Thanks for the feedback guys, watch out for more amcasproductions or brighton trials videos in the future, they can only get better :) Seb
  13. Thanks for the feedback guys, it was filmed by Lucas Tucknott, (Lux, forum name) my brother, who has his own film/video company and we thought it was about time we made a half decent video. We also tried to film it in good weather to bring a happy feeling to the video. It was filmed at: (in order of appearance) Shoreham Fort Shoreham Locks Hove Lagoon Brighton Seafront Brighton Marina Marina to Rottingdean Undercliff walk, Preston Park and the Steine. Also music by: Dido - Stoned Republica - Ready To Go Cheers (Y)
  14. huh?
  15. Went out riding wednesday evening. At about 9.45pm i was riding on brighton seafront. I stopped for a bit with my brother and his friend. Just kinda standing over my bike. Three woman and two blokes (all late 20s) walked past and one of the blokes goes haha they havent got any seats. (the usual :P ) The other goes they must have gone up their arse... Then while walking backwards look at our bikes walked into a post which "went up his arse" so we all laughed because of the irony. Then he flipped and starting coming towards me shouting: "you need f***ing knocking out mate" he then came up to me, me thinking he was gonna start squaring up to me but no, he punched me hard straight in the face. Then started shouting at me to get me off my bike but then realised i was bleeding so walked off. I immediatly thought he had broken my nose, due to the large amount of blood. But instead he had split my lip. Went to A and E and after 4 hours of waiting to be seen i was seen be a doctor. He told me it was quite bad and needed stitches but that would have to be down by a plastic surgeon because it was on my face. He said the good news was that there was one available and he was willing to see me that evening. But he was in eastbourne. So we had to go there (over 30mins away) After getting there and waiting another hour was finally seen by him. After 30mins in surgery: 2 stitches outside and 4 inside and a very swollen lip. He told me the cut went striaght through the lip hence stiches needed on both sides. All i can say is f***ing p**ck :P Seb
  16. I did report it to the police yesterday, they didnt have the resorces to interview me yesterday but they have taken a preliminary statement. They are going to take a full statment and take photos of the injury sometime soon. I might look into compensation as i missed work (no sick pay as im a summer temp back from uni) also just the whole hassle of 7hrs at A and E, not being able to eat drink and speak properly for a week or so. As for the guy hitting me again for going to the police, i dont think that will happen, as i dont even know him. Also if i see him again Ill be bolting it... Seb
  17. Thanks for everyone's sympathy. For the people saying "you should have beated the crap out of him" Im not exactly small, 6'1" and not too weedy either around 12stone. But I have never been in a fight and well yes i could have maybe done more damage than he could to me but, he was about 30years old, looked like he'd definatly been in fights before, about 6ft tall and easily 15stone of mostly muscle. And being the single punch punctured my lip i think he would have caused me a lot more harm. As for my brother and his mate theyre both 16 and not exactly the biggest of built people. I just took it didnt move, didnt react or anything except spit blood on the floor which made him leave. Which i think was the best and only way to deal with it. Anyway i have to be back at work, ill write more later. Seb
  18. Hello all, Sorry about the boring topic, but might be getting a GU, I know its a 68mm shell but what width for middleburn isis cranks? Thanks in advance. Seb

  20. But he's running tapered cranks... Really dont go for the koxx one, its just a rebranded cheaper bb and sold for more... get a UN52/72 both great bb and will last you fine. Seb
  21. As I feel I'm improving a lot in the natural department and that i was gonna be very bored today (being picked up from uni tomorrow, but everyone went home yesterday) I though I'd film my ride at Matlock yesterday. Here is the video, so of you may find it a little boring as well natural isn't all about "going huge" but i feel its quite nicly chilled and also shows you want Matlock quarry is like to ride if you havent seen/been there before. I love it there. May cost me £6.45 on the train and take 1.5hrs to get there but I'd prefer to do that any day then ride street (even brum (Y)) Please comment if you download, want to see what people think. Thanks Seb PS: If trials-shack goes down and i dont notice, post up and ill upload it elsewhere.
  22. Yeh i did like it, could deffinatly do with some music though, i supose it gives us the option of playing our own in the background, and then no one can go on about it being a bad tune... Looks like you have so good moves going down there too! Seb
  23. Yeh thats how i worked it out, through champ points. Would love to see the actual results though. Seb
  24. Woo i came 6th!! not as good as last time, although there was more people at this one and i did dab less. I get a mention on the homepage too lol!! Was a hell of a mission to get there!! Thanks for the lift andy and beau " Really enjoyed this comp, yeh it was windy, but i really prefered the sections. They were a lot more technical and i actually needed to use my trials skills. I found the last comp (knabb quarry) "too easy" like was just like xc courses. I know i dabbed more but that was not being used to riding on loose stuff at slow speeds, also my first comp and having 2 hrs sleep. Really looking forward to the next comp, gonna be riding natty all over the summer. Big thanks to Steve and co for organising it and with there help for me and my lateness... Seb
  25. Generally if a girl keeps eye contact with you she's interested. Just kinda glace at her every now and then, if you make eye contact give her a smile. If she smiles back she'll be interested. From there, as you are in like a club im sure you could make conversation easier than say a randomer. I would leave getting her number till a bit later. Talk a few times first. And generally its better to give your number than get hers. That way she feels more in control to approach you. Be confindent i know its a hell of a lot easier said than done though, I'm the worst at approaching girls. I know that once i say something to them ill be fine, i can talk for ages its just the going up bit. Hope that helps a bit, Seb
