  1. Thanks for your reply Luke I won't be getting hopes for it then lol maybe some Magura or cheaper shimano. I new it was an old Monty and I only paid £40 for it as is. So I thought that was alright. It has 4 bolt holes so I can have a rear hydrolic rim brake. I also have loads of old parts from my ancient Onza so I will see what I have. I mainly got it to just get into trials again as I've missed it for to long. And thought this would be a good start also I may just buy second hand parts for it. Edit: on second thought I don't think i can put hydrolics on it.............shame.
  2. I've been out of trials for a while now and brought this old 20' Monty as a project but is it worth putting money into?. I'm unsure of the model It needs some work but that was the plan as I couldn't afford a new build. But is it worth doing up?
  3. Thanks for your advise Lord Banks I found these Salt Plus Metron 48 3-Piece Crank on www.winstanleysbmx.com will think about getting this one.
  4. Thanks for you advise much appreciated. The BB is fine nothing wrong with it at all ( but I will check it again ) so I will measure the axle etc and go from there. It was a lovely bike to ride even with stock parts but it needs refreshing and my own touch to it.
  5. Hello people Again sorry it's not trials but I need some advise. I have a 2011 mongoose chamber and it badly needs a new 3 piece crank but will any 3 piece fit this bike I think it will but didn't want to spend £80 or more on an new one if it doesn't fit. Also can anyone recommend a 3 piece crank my budget is about £60 to £80 maybe a little more.
