  1. I'm working the weekend as well unfortunatley. Would of loved to come along
  2. Awesome I'm from the Condorrat area. not originally from Cumbernauld though so I don't know the whole area well. Yeah the weather has sucked so i've been going to the sheltered car park up the town centre just practicing the usual bumf and getting used to the trials bike again. I'll PM you my number and just give us a shout the next time your going out to ride and i'll try hop along
  3. Yeah if seen a lot of stuff in Glasgow that looks awesome to ride. I'm still somewhat crap so I can only dream atm I'm actually from Cumbernauld but I haven't seen any trials riders kicking about locally so I thought there must be some dudes in the Glasgow area. I used to see a few guys riding BMX but even they have disappeared forever alone... Great Success!!! Awesome man will do
  4. Hey guys, Any riders on the forum based around the Cumbernauld or Glasgow area??? Started riding a while back myself but it became so boring riding by myself that I spent more time riding trails with my downhill buddies. I've got the trials itch again though.
  5. Ye man ano but just from experience I find my rim brakes alot better afterwards sprayed with disc brake cleaner than without. I think its cos it just dries everything out but if you dont have any then washing up liquid and a brush is usually enough.
  6. What do you call cheese that isn't yours??? Nacho Cheese! So bad its gd haha.
  7. Also if you have some disc brake cleaner use a bit of that as well after washing ithe rim as it will shift alot of the grease, oil etc that soapy water and a toothbrush would have just moved about the rim.

Cool vid man. Howd you snap the forks??? :P
  9. Hey man, I jus bought my Onza blade at the begining of the week there and love it. You get a lot of bike for the money and havent really found anything that would need changing asap. For the money id say go for it. When I was looking for my first mod the blade was the best i could find for under £500.
  10. Soz man actually never worked on a chris king and jumped to a conclusion . Always thought they used a system like tht. Worth a read up on my part haha Soz
  11. Haha kl. I thought it had like some super tech advantage like made the brake feel more controllable .
  12. It is impossible to make your hub louder without damaging it or making it more likely to wear. Your hubs noise depends on things like how many pawls are used, how tight the spring is, how dry the inside of the hub is and how deep the engagement points are. If you have to make it louder tightning the spring around the pawls or cleaning out the lube will make the hub louder but will also make it wear quicker. NEVER cut(deepen) the engagement points though . Some dirt jumper came into the bike shop i work in a while back who had done this and it was unfixable. Not worth the risk. Best bet would be to just leave it as is if your happy with it though.
  13. Why do trials riders bleed there hydraulic brakes with water instead of whats meant to be used like dot 5.1, mineral oil etc? Oh also, Got my first trials bike today (Onza blade 20" mod) and im loving it. Had to throw that out there haha
  14. Yeah would probs be the first thing i would change but i think that the blade should be fine for my first trial bike (proper jinxed it there eh?)
