  1. I like how when we post the youtube links, the screen shot shows up now! This site has been updated! Nice.
  2. Thanks for the comments. It was fun making this video and looking for good locations. At 3:13 Jeff's clothes match the native sculptures with the blue, red and black color scheme. We didn't actually plan that, nor did we expect to find the wooden native structures in the background WITH some rocks to ride, great bonus! That was a pretty great morning and coincidence for filming this vid.
  3. Not sure if the word "training" inspires as much passion as it does on OTN's forum. Anyhow a few facebook posts from riders wanting tips for this move motivated me to do a front hop video.I asked around to see which local guys to do some front wheel hops for the video but there were just a few of us current riders who are able to front hop. Not the most useful move but if you can hop on the bw, why not the front wheel too? Modern day trial bikes make it fairly easy to balance on the front wheel as well.To set a goal for a complete new front wheel hopper, try aiming for 3, then 4, and then 5, etc.For more seasoned riders, aim for 5 hops, then 7, etc. By the time anyone reaches 10 hops, you'll have uncovered the mysteries of the elusive front wheel hop balance point. Hope this video can help give some ideas and tips on how to reach 10 front hops* 0:31 to 2:39 Front wheel hop tips2:40 to 4:35 Front wheel hop Foolery <iframe width="1251" height="729" src=" Any comments or feedback welcome. You can share or forward to anyone who might be interested in front wheel hops! They're loads of fun!

    Little trials event

Fun little event at the locals rider's most frequented trials spot. The British must be proud of A-ran who now lives in Canada, he rides smooth, flowy and very techy.
  5. We just had our trials park redone. There's just a sign outside that says you ride at your own risk, no fence around the place really. We also have skateparks here so I think the insurance is the same as those facilities. For obstacles, how about asking the City's work yard and see if there are left over concrete pipes/tubes/cylinders/logs/rocks/dividers/etc. There maybe construction sites around that give some wood away. The skid loaders used to move rocks around is the machine you want for moving stuff fast/efficiently.

I wanted a stem that I could use for 10+ years and not have to worry about it, and that was also 70mm in length. There weren't many stems in that length when I first got the stem. Older geo short 26" bikes are fun! Definitely show us some pics/vid of your Zebdi!

This is my Yess bike. 1015mm wheelbase, +5mm BB , 390mm stays. The right chainstay looks weird cuz I used some light foam and white tape to keep prevent chain slap.

Thanks for the comments guys. I will try to take some pics and post them up. It's a pretty older school geo, short and low bb.

Finally put a new edit together around the Vancouver area, haven't been getting out too much to new places in the past little while. Any feedback or comments welcome.
  10. Round 2, filmed from different angles to show more of each section.
  11. Before going to Whistler, there was no way to really confirm if the rumor was true or not that Kenny Belaey was coming to town but as I walked towards the meeting area, I see some riders approaching and instantly recognized Kenny, so he did in fact come to Canada to ride at Crankworks/Trialsworks. It was a great chance to follow, watch and film the elite riders in action. I helped out with timing and checking a few times so I could only film as much as I could. This is round 1 of the sections and I have footage of the 2nd round too.

    Vid from Vancouver

I haven't been making vids for a bit but am trying to get back into it and try to be more consistent while searching for more places to ride/film.
  13. I've been thinking of trying out 24inch. I have 170mm long cranks and an 18 tooth front freewheel. Do most 24 inch riders use a 15 or 14 at the rear? For my 26 inch now I use an 18-15 gear ratio and it's great with the 170 cranks.
  14. Some competition scenes at the Belcarra trials comp in May. (In Canada). Riders were broken up different groups so I could only get a few clips here and there. <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.c...bed/Y2qdklClgqQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
