Looks like you've got a good size area to make a riding spot. That decking might be a bit treacherous when it's wet though.

Manufacturers just follow trends in the market. If a few popular riders started using more heavy duty parts then the fan boys would follow and manufacturers would start catering to them. Adam basically said the other thing earlier in the thread but I thought I'd copy him.

I like the fact that they're making an effort to rectify the problem. Maybe they should use riders with different styles in future to get a better idea of strength.

I like what you've done with the old school Monty but can't help feeling that it should have been restored to original. I can see why you didn't though because you were planning on riding it so you wanted to improve it. What you've done with the pedals is good, I might do the same to mine.

I'm a big fan of the stock Onza Limey 4 frames and was thinking of buying a steel equivalent from Marino. Although I like the idea I'm not sure what type of tubing would be best and what would be the benefits? I'm not too concerned with weight. Any help would be much appreciated.

I know right? I saw one driving the other day and apparently they're allowed to vote these days! 8 minutes was above and beyond what was needed. I nearly slipped into a coma. A few minutes would have been better.

So to recap, you want a hub thats a bit flash and a bit different, strong enough for trials, single speed, with disk mounts, a decent amount of ep's but not a Hope? I think you'll struggle to be fair.
