    Csc Rim Brakes

some improvements..... i'll let you know more as soon as possible http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzM0NjQ1NTIw.html
  2. Put down the discussion on the brake.... I can't believe what you say is true ..... first of all, the same Magura recommends spacing the pads of 2mm per side, I have always done that(max 3mm) and although I have not ever had a rim perfectly straight, the pads didn't never rub the rim! about the new single wall rims, I don't know if they sway so much...... but at this point I would complain more on undulating rims than brakes......

Thanks to everyone for the advice and opinions! as someone said the problems I encountered are the following: -little space between pads and rim -if the support frame is not square well have trouble -the same way if the rim is not centered well Instead we can say that these are the positive aspects: - Easy and quick mount, the slaves will automatically be straight! - Self-regulation of the pads - More power thanks to the pump with reservoir (this can also be a downside, could split some frames?) - The price(i don't think it will be far from echo or magura) - The weight Of course we can always improve, thanks again;)

I thought about it, and I had an idea, use a thick (2mm) between pad and rim when I bleed the brake, then (once removed) should work like a normal brake HS / Echo! p.s:I want to clarify that I am not the manufacturer of the brakes! 'm just a friend of the owner of the CSC Chinese brand)

Thanks for asking! this is the problem, the piston is free to move, is not linked to the slave by springs, if it had an indent when you take the pad also remove the piston behind it. However this is not a problem as it is currently constructed on the brake! if i put the lever HS33 on CSC slaves, if I manage to get a higher return of the piston, then i should change the attachment of the pad (probably with an o-ring, in this case the cnc backing pads are better!) I'm glad that you have many questions, the brake is still not on the market, if you have suggestions may be taken into consideration!
  7. please look at this as soon as possible i upload a video demo and I think to clarify any doubt!

please wait loading a demo video that I made, I think the video is well understand the operation and also the adjustment! the weight is 230g for the complete rear brake plus screws, washers and pads! the weight is similar to the ECHO TR, but the CSC has a heavier pump ...... I'll try to put a pump HS33 (I have at home) on CSC slaves, I hope that works and I hope to gain weight Today I tested the brakes on a surface inclined at 45 °, the wheel remains locked and I was very happy with the result (considering that I'm using a 38mm rim Alex and then the minimum, not grinded from a bit of time!) the brake supports rim from 38 up to 47mm!
  9. the brake which Alex has tested is the current model J25,as you can see on the attachment , is recommended for XC use, for us it is recommended the J30, it mounts hope mono trial pads! You can see the photos here about the rim brake, I wrote a topic in "NEWS", however you can see the photos here
