  1. Will it though? I thought mono minis were an open system?
  2. I'm just learning to backhop too, I've found that if I can find something to get my front wheel onto that's roughly the right height as the sweet spot, i can hop on that, and slowly lift the front wheel off the object. Does that make sense? And the endo way of lifting your front wheel as described above is much more controlled.
  3. I'm 33, and although I've been mountain biking since the early 90s, This is my first proper attempt at trials too! Geez, that makes me sound old... I've NEVER been able to backhop, I intend to haveit down by christmas!
  4. Do you want a polished finish? If you do, Get busy with some Autosol every few months. As said, aluminium doesn't need lacquer, and more often than not, it'll look worse the moment it chips. HTH
  5. Thanks Guys, looks like they're just low-end then? I've seen a few around super cheap... I may pick one up and see how it goes. I've ridden a few nice bikes, yup, But I'm having tons of fun at the moment on a 1993 kona fire mountain. Go figure!
  6. I've seen lots of bad reports on here, what is the problem with them? Loads of them seem to be for sale for less than £100 second hand, but i'm reluctant to buy one due to the comments on here! This will be my first proper trials bike ( been riding mountain bikes for 18 years though) Sorry if this opens a can of worms... Steve
  7. Hallo All. I'm Steve, and I'm looking to get a trials bike after about 15 years away from bikes! I used to ride trials in the 90s, and want to see if I'm just as cack as I was then! Looking to get a Mod, nothing too pricy, second hand is good. Nice forum, hope to rack your collective brains! Steve
