  1. I study and reside in Southern China and I have been riding one of these for the past semester. I don't really have any comments on the bike, its a frame, light, and one of the more common ones to see in China. (I don't know how to change the display dimensions) It's also to worthy to note how cheap the frameset is here in China. A seller on Taobao (Chinese eBay) has these going for about 780RMB, which is equivalent to 125USD, and as far as I know, they are only available in the mainland. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=2013.1.20141003.4.kysEE9&scm=1007.10011.4564.0&id=43072547525&pvid=2ba552a3-7275-4b43-9f8e-c3d0fd8aead5
  2. yeah, i just had to learn to ride with the lever adjustment slightly more out that im used to. in a way its a plus because it reduces the overall "floppiness" of the lever. small hands doe.
  3. add a saint onto that and you have enough power to destroy america
  4. I normally just ride with shin guards but ditched them when i swapped my shindigger pedals for some plastic bmx ones.
  5. here's mine, from china. ive been looking to get slx cranks, and maybe swap the brakes out for saints, but they are holding up pretty well so far.
  6. I believe it's so that it can double as a "fixie", or a trials bike.
  7. If you can pedal kick okay, it may not be the bars. Street frames such as the inspired fourplay don't really need excessive stem lengths because it makes performing beginner street moves, like bunny hops, endos, pivots, etc., more difficult. Additionally, you can try lining the rising part of the bar up with the headtube, or even inline with the stem like the TGS setup. edit: formatting
  8. because i like reddit, and i like street.
  9. Could someone explain the difference between the xt m775 lever, and the slx m665 lever?
  10. How are the m810 saint callipers? I've been considering switching brakes for a while, and i have come across 2nd hand m810 callipers for just around $35, is it a good deal? I've been thinking about throwing them on together with some old xt m775 servo-wave levers. Do you guys think this is a good idea? Or i could get these 2nd hand m820 callipers for about $65, is it worth it? Tell me what you think
  11. The new SRAM's RS/RSC Guide are new hydraulics, and like the saints, have 4 pistons. Has anyone heard of it being used for trials?
  12. I've recently been in the market looking for a new crankset, i have been looking at the slx m665, but haven't been able to find any stock, but i dont want to go as far as something like the price of the saints. Ideally, i want to run an external bottom bracket with a 22t and a bashring on the cranks. Could anyone give any suggestions/recommendations?
  13. What do you mean by spotting your front pedal?
  14. Hello to all! My name is Roger, Taiwanese, raised in Canada, and now studying High School in an international school in China. I started riding streettrials four months back when I picked up a crappy chinese 24" bike that was up for 2000rmb, which equates to around 300 dollars. It was called something along the lines of Bionic B5R or something, not important. Nonetheless, it broke and I picked up a chinese knockoff of the inspired bikes (geometry below), called Saw, or Sawbike, or something. I enjoy riding bikes because life outside of school in China is relatively slow. Your friends live far from you, and there's lots of space. No, im not a commie. Ridiculous wrecked first bike (Sorry, I have no other photos) Current bike w/ specs Wheels - Front tyre: Maxxis Holy Roller 24 x 2.4" - Rear tyre: Maxxis Holy Roller 24 x 2.4" - Inner tyres: Kenda 24" Brakes - Front brake: Shimano XT - RT86 180mm Disc, Black - Rear brake: Shimano XT - RT86 180mm Disc, Black Geometry - Wheelbase: 965mm - Chainstay: 355mm - BB height: +10mm - Head angle: 74ish˚ There's no point in me listing the drivetrain, steering, and seating specs because they are literally only available on the chinese market. I haven't made any changes to the bike so far and it set me back roughly 350usd, which is pretty good for such a sturdy frame. I'm probably going to switch out the rims, and the stem for something stronger. Tl;dr: Roger. New. Hi. China. Welcome me.
  15. What about the rear, if it isnt the same as the front?
