I think trial tech sl's are superior, I had the zhi's like above atm but if I could have any it'd be the trial techs. I loved them when I used to have them.

Looking for the clamps with the best clamping power. Echo and crazy bikes general design aren't very good in my opinion. If the echo sl ones are good for clamping id get them, but they are the only was here's ones if like. But I've heard try alls are good, hence my wanted thread. I would prefer to buy new also. i used to do that, but it was too fiddly for me and I bought a new style heat sink tensioner. Put a little stone on each drop out as I couldn't bottom it out because I couldn't set my brakes up on a trial tech rim, the side walls are very narrow on them rims. In fact they're basically the same width as my pads. But it worked pretty mint,

I think the only thing that makes the difference in the two geomatrys is the chain-stay length.

I really like the idea of the longer geo, very similar to the radix, but i wonder how it rides compared to the rockman as the chainstay is shorter on the echo.
