  1. Have an 80-way string phone! Like the ones you did when you were a kid with string and plastic cups.
  2. You're falling into the trap! But to be fair, i wont be far behind you.
  3. There's a saying that goes ''the fear of hurt is worse than hurt itself'' Get out there, do your thing, if anything kicks off while you're out and about, call the police and deal with it your way until they get there. You don't know what they plan to do, you don't know what they think of you so you cant live in fear. They're winning already and they havnt done anything much.
  4. Ive got a wall in my bedroom about 3 metres long and normal height and i was thinking about doin sum big stencilled art on it but im completely out of ideas at the mo! Something bike related would be good, but would also like something creative and not too cliche like a sunset or something. Any ideas?
  5. Good answers already! How do you go about ordering a strip-o-gram? Sounds like a potential winner!
  6. Right! So the story is that my girlfriends mum is always looking for ways to embarres me. The other week she came into Tesco when i was working behind the till on a busy afternoon and handed me an Ann Summers bag containing lemon flavour body lick off stuff, a box of flavoured jonnies and some chocolate body paint. Naturally the people i work with wanted to know what was in the bag so had to empty the contents.. There's also a few other little bits but i think it's time i got my revenge! The thing is i really don't know what to do. She works in an open plan shared office so i thought about sending something in for her...but what?! Other than that, and doing/buying stupid things when we are all out together, i have no idea so help would be great! A point to note is that we are basically family and up for a laugh so almost nothing is out of the question!
  7. Good nightlife and famous surf in Newquay, theres the eden project, lands end, ginsters pasty factory ( i would have thought...)
  8. Ive passed all the Marines selection tests and start proper training at lympstone on the 21st april so I have a fair bit of knowledge of the corps. The officers are respected, no doubt about it. The only officers that aren't respected are the useless ones as the men under their command feel un safe and hard done by. Officers training is incredibly hard, if you think of the average pass rate of a troop of recruits is appox 10-15 out of 50, you can imagine what it's like in officer training. To even get into officer training you have to pass the Potential Officers Course which is a 3 or 4 day course at Lympstone then theres the admirality interview board. A lad i know passed the POC apart from the interview board so it shows you dont just have to be fit and determined. Ive been put off now by watching Ali G so if i remember what else i was going to say i'll edit later!
  9. You say if it's down by £5, you have to pay it. Therefore if it's down by £4.99 you shouldn't have to? Surely its not fair that, dependant on a couple of pence you would either hav to pay a fiver or nothing? Read your contract reeeeally carefully and see if you can wangle it so you only have to pay back the 69 pence because if you hadn't gone over by that much, you wouldn't have to pay a penny.
  10. Not too bad...the only thing i would point out is the littering. If it's an advert that would go on tv or something then i dont think that would go down too well.
  11. About to start Royal Marines Training
  12. Sum 41 - In too deep Going to see them on Saturday
  13. I love all the Chris Ryan books. I read most of them in about 2-3 days per book. Totally gripping and one of those that you just dont want to put down! Also some of you have mentioned 'the one that got away' by Chris Ryan and 'Bravo Two Zero' by Andy McNab, but there is another version of that mission by bravo two zero team member Mike Coburn and the book is 'soldier five'. It claims to set the record straight about all the doubts of the other two books.
