  1. Cool sounds good think ill be going up with wayne and a few others as well. lovatt
  2. From the top of the bolt they are 35mm (3.5cm) and from the start of the thread they are 31mm (3.1cm). hope that helps lovatt
  3. To be honest i think their a very good idea but for the price they are not worth it, if you just set up your break well you wont get any flex from them (which you will notice). Heatsink pads are so good, it doesn't matter about a little modulation so it wont make a difference to the break. lovatt
  4. It all depends on how long away you are looking. Yes i think that Sam Wheeler is going to be a brillient rider but you could look further down the line. I think that in 5 years or so Robbie Peacock will be an outstanding rider. lovatt
  5. Ye i live in bingley near bradford and leeds. We need to get a ride going sometime in the summer or now if u want. Should be able to get some people out and about. Bradford is a good place to ride and it would mean that we i could get sad acts like wayne and bucky out then without complaining. lol lovatt
  6. I run a koxx levelboss stock and there is a lot of frame flex but the best one in my opinion is the echo 2 bolt brakebooster. lovatt
  7. No not for a long time so your best off either keeping all old ie. chain and cassette or all new so chain, cassette, jockey wheels and most likely the front chain ring. lovatt
  8. Ye post this thead in another 3-4 months and well get a proper ride set up. Thier should be a lot of us from leeds who woudln't mind coming up for a ride. lovatt
  9. Ye I would say that a longer frame would suit your height much better. Also try bikes with a higher stem that could help much more becuase it will stop you from arching your back (stopping back pains). A long bike will also make your riding much better so I would say that a longer bike would help alot with your riding so it would be a good change. lovatt
  10. Go for the frame first. You'll always imporve wiht a better frame. lovatt
  11. Ye an armourdillo will fit on a monty. i know 2 people who run theirs with them on. You could also look at chain stay protection. I find the best thing to use, and so do alot of other people is hose piping. all you have to do is cut it to the right size then just zip tie it on. lovatt
  12. Ye sure you could. Just as long as you havent chainged your chain as well because other wise it mite start scipping alot. lovatt :)
  13. Ye but you cant switch hope leavers around so it wouldn't work unless you used a front leaver. lovatt (Y)
  14. Just make sure that when you tap that you lean forwads so that you dont fall back off and, it will stop your backwheel from hitting the object befor you have got up it. When your next out have a look at some one who can tap and look at how they do it for a good 5 mins, that way you will get the idea. Also dont be scared of hitting the wall hard and fast. lovatt(Y)
  15. koxx browns are gud but they dont work that well in the wet without a grind. I found that zoo pads worked well without a grind because they are so soft. lovatt :P
