  1. (posted this on BMX forum aswell) I had some Plazmatic Spanish Fly V pads on my bmx last year, and they were ace. Sold that bike a while ago, just got a new one but brakes are terrible so I'm trying to go back to the old setup. I've tried Cleanbikes but apparently no one they know of has been importing them for a few months... So, anyone here know where i might be able to get hold of some still? Or got some hardly-used ones lying around to sell? Or if not, which pads do you suggest instead? Ta
  2. Called Domino and by Thunderball - at least I'm pretty sure it is.... Had started editing a vid to it a while back but then saw The Collective and decided I couldn't compete! Can send you it if you don' have any luck finding it. Gavin

  6. cheers, will have to pay it a visit sometime soon me thinks
  7. nice vid, out of interest where is this place, is it anywhere in/near loughborough?
  8. yeah, ill be down there too starting my second year. didn't take my bike last year so looking forward to riding there.
  9. Joy Division and Pink Floyd. Tough though, as others have said it all depends on mood. I don;t actually listen to either of those a lot compared to other bands, but definitely appreciate them most when I do.
  10. OK I fancy something new as I'm pretty bored during day at uni with a lot of time on my hands... So yeah thought I mgiht give BMX a go, which predictably involves me purchasing a BMX... Thing is, I don't really have a clue about them so any advice on what to get would be awesome, with budget of £200 (I know it isn't much, but I don't wanna spend a lot as A. I'm skint and B. It'll be my first bike n I don't know how long I'll actually end up sticking with it etc) No too sure what I'd be using it for, bit of blasting around, street, maybe some ramp stuff, really not certain, so something that'll be comfortable with a bit of everything. From what I've read on here, Hoffman, We The People and DK seem to be the way to go? Anything vital I really need to think about when choosing one? Also any shops you recommend I use/stay clear of would be nice. Here's what I;ve been looking at so far: Stolen Goblin Hoffman Disrupter EL1 WTP Nova WTP Bold DK Cleveland DK 8 Pack (I MIGHT be able to stretch to the £230 6 Pack if it's really worth it?) So there's my choices - would be good if anyone can help me narrow it down. Thanks a lot for any help Gavin

  12. Think ive been scammed out of £70...heres how it goes.... I recently bought a sony ericsson phone from carphone warehouse with O2, when i got home i recieved a phonecall from what seemed to be carphone warehouse insurance. They told me that the insurance had changed from £120 to £70 a year and they knew my name, address, and some numbers from my bank card (god knows how.). they asked me to confirm this, so i did as they already knew some of it. Now, basically im being charged by O2 for a lifeline lite insurance, and by 'Advance Telecom' for a £70 a month warranty (which was a one-off payment). This company doesnt seem to exist after a search on google. I emailed carphone warehouse, they were saying 'Advance Telecom' isnt an affiliate of carphone warehouse and theyre sending me a questionnaire or something... i then phoned 'advance telecom' and they told me i should phone my bank to cancel the carphone warehouse direct debits, i asked to cancel my insurance with them and they said i am outside my period of cancellation. So basically,
  13. Hi all I'm working on a website for a label printers near where I live. As part of the job, they want a Flash intro page to the site. Much as I personally dislike these intros, they're pretty adamant they want one doing so I guess it has to be done. I've used Flash a bit myself and I think it's quite a simple job, I'm just not v experienced so it takes me forever, which I really don't have. Basically what they want is a very short intro - a picture of a printing press (which I have), which then 'prints out' a label, which then flies up from the distnace onto the user's screen, like it's being blown in the wind or something. Can't really explain it very well but hopefully you get the idea. So yeah, anyone who's any good with Flash, or can recommend someone, would be great. Obviously it needs to be a decent job made of it so please only get back to me if you're deifinitely up to it! Also please let me know a rough price, and any past work if you have it would be good Thanks a lot Gavin
