I'm doing alright cheers mate. Keep seeing your adventures on facebook Sounds more like RSI to be honest, if you're the type that wrests your wrists on the tables you can alleviate a tonne of the problems just raising the wrists a couple of inches off the desk. try putting a rolled up pair of socks under your wrists for a couple of days to take the weight and see if the pain starts to ease over the course of a week or so. Or buy a boobies wrist rest thing

eat bananas, the fruit kind... not the ones you normally eat Potasssium helps. Buy a wrist rest and a powerball and get training
  3. Prime the floor to stop the dry concrete sucking the moisture out of any new layer and then Arditex NA on the floor. Use levelling guides and a spiked roller and have a second pair of hands to mix while you pour. Setting time is listed as 30-40 mins but you'll be looking at 15-20 before it starts to harden and becomes too thick to blend if mixing multiple buckets. If you really want to dpm the concrete to be on the safe side you can use bitumen as the dpm and then the arditex is one of the few compounds able to go onto bitumen.
  4. Just hang a car air freshener over the screen...
  5. Yup, i push my crank on so it meets the bottom bracket and thats it.
  6. I can't believe i've actually just read all of that... i feel like my brain has just melted. Stop bickering like children or i'll lock/delete the thread. Video/riding comments only, any more personal remarks will be deleted and people removed from the forum for a while.
  7. Grammar is the difference between people knowing their shit and knowing they're shit.
  8. The sandisk cards can be a little unpredictable in the gopro's, much better with a samsung or even better yet, the lexar cards that are recommended on the gopro site. Also, if you're doing a really long timelapse. You want this and a usb cable. Those chargers are invaluable and are great for charging a flat gopro while out in the middle of nowhere biking.
  9. Currently running a saint 10speed mech with clutch, on a 9 speed cassette with a sram x-0 9 speed shifter. So yes, super easy to do without having to replace everything. I didn't even need a spacer on the cable clamp like some people have, just attached it with a new cable and good to go. Been fine for quite a while now. Also, go for a clutch. Best little things that have happened since hydro brakes
  10. I went to stile cop the other day and it's a terrible place now. Half the tracks are closed off, the changes they've made have made it flow worse than it was before and most of the tracks are covered in loose pebbles and eroded away due to rain. Such a shame.
  11. Onkyo 626 amp Kef iq30 front speakers kef xq50c centre speaker (it's the most important one after all so more money spent on it ) Basic rears Homebuilt bk monolith subwoofer with an extra 200w of power!!! behringer parametric equalizer to EQ the sub. Sounds sweet the upgrades i'd like to see over the next 12 months: Swap the fronts for kef reference series floorstanders and swap the iq's to the back. Upgrade the amp to one with seperate pre-outs so i can get some proper amplification on the go for the front 3 speakers.
  12. New bits on the bike Picked up some boxxers but didn't like them so got the fox 40's instead. New brakes, new rear mech, new shifter, new stem. Feels like a completely different bike! And for the keen eyes amongst you, yes that is a sram shifter with a saint rear mech
  13. Contour simply is not as good as a hero black. The contour +2 i looked at has a lower image quality and too much contrast. This means when you have a scene with bright and dark sections the contour is underexposed in the darks and blown out in the lights. The go pro has a much better balance so results in better image quality. At 960p/720 they are both the same 170 degree viewing angle, at 1080 the contour has 125 and gopro 127 so gopro is wider. 2.7k @ 30fps from the gopro means you can use software stabilization on the computer afterwards to get a nice steady picture while still being able to output the finished clip at 1080. Gopro has removable batteries too so you can take spares
  14. Theres a big old bunch of us going on the 30th march if anyones about Gonna be hitting up stile cop for the day i think.
  15. I know it isn't the most recent design, but it's a solid design that pedals really well and rips the downhill. It's an amazing bike to ride, it's a brand new frame and it ends in a few hours... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181333493477?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  16. Never, its pure sand about a foot under the topsoil so the rainwater soaks down almost instantly. It's a very rare occasion when you ever find a puddle there, even during the weeks of near constant rain we've had recently!
  17. I switched from 135mm to 150mm frames and needed a new wheel for the weekend because i'm impatient. Found a saint wheel selling on ebay for £60 with no bids so i went for it. Haha, hell no. That bike has 8 inches of rear travel and big draggy tyres. There's no way i'd do distance on it. Suprisingly though, even despite the 40t chainring whacking it into the 23t cassette cog is a pretty lightweight gear. it's only a 1.7 ratio, where as my singlespeed jump bike is 2.5 and i ride that all over the place.
  18. Got a few new bits. Tried out a saint rear hub, that only stayed on the bike for 2 rides before i was back on a pro 2! So new rear wheel, new bars, new roadie cassette and gone Ti on the rear shock spring. List of changes still to be made: Going dual crown on the forks. Boxxer WC's or fox 40's. Swap the rear shock for a fox DHX RC4 Get a tidier chain guide with a built in bash. Try tubeless on the tyres to drop almost a full kg off the weight of the bike.

  20. Haha, it has small things too. One line is just berms, but nice big swooping berms and all the way down. I'll show you on facebook so you can watch some of the videos of us doing the runs etc.
  21. It's near bestwood country park, on some private land in the middle of nowhere. Me and mike singleton are looking at heading down for a couple of hours tomorrow and i may be back on thursday depending on the weather. But we're nearly always up there on sundays!
