  1. That would be a wicked pod! Kind of like an XDA combined with a proper MP3 player...
  2. Cheers dude :D) Well, I sometimes use DVD Shrink, as it has a Nero 6 plugin, to do the burning for you. Initially, I rip the DVD with DVD Decrypter - best ripper out there for Win32 platform, I reckon. Then I process the ripped DVD - either as an ISO, or in .IFO files - through DVD Shrink. The trick for a safe burn is simple - use a low speed on your burner - I use 2x mostly for back-ups. And don't put too much strain on the computer - too much hard disk thrashing will incure buffer-underruns on the DVD...which are very noticable when you play them. So: http://www.dvddecrypter.com/ and http://www.dvdshrink.org/ Laters, :: Phaze ::
  3. The only decent thing about that song was the video - friggin' hillarious! For those who haven't seen it, the 2 groups are trying a band practice in rooms next to each other....each trying to blast the other one out by turning up the volume....
  4. Er..... Rage Against The Machine? Perfect match of metal/rock & rap. Nothing cheesy, or electronically synthed - just pure guitars, drums & vocals. Gotta love it.
  5. Tribe are definitely on my playlist..... all of their tunes :D) Gangstarr is actually: Guru (the MC) and DJ Premier - it's a duo-act. They are brilliant, as both the lyrics and the tunes are very imaginative....and DJ Premier is a wicked scratch-dj too....
  6. I've got 90Gb worth......about 50 days according to iTunes, lol...... iTunes tells me I have 15,763 MP3s, which is a nice number to rock the party - I'm a DJ, and sometimes make compilations onto CD, instead of lugging 1000CDs everywhere :D) Oh, and I've got my entire record collection MP3'd too - which is about 600 tracks.
  7. 50c was a crack dealer, until Eminem took him under his wing.
  8. What do I do with it? Well.... I'm a bit of a computer geek (if you hadn't noticed :(), and it was part of a project..... I game quite a bit - and as I don't have the £££ to pour into the latest hardware, I have to push my current kit harder.... I also do multimedia dev - but that doesn't require that much extra omph. In regards to the compressor temperatures - they get to about -50'C sometimes..... Running at 4.4Ghz, they probably get about -20'C or something, depending on their cooler liquid (differnet liquids have different cooling properties....and prices....ahem) With liquid nitrogen, people have pushed the 5Ghz barrier.... :: Phaze ::
  9. Metallica is at the top of my playlists much of the time..... despite being into heavy d&b...lol. Their 8m instrumentals are insane..... just amazing to listen to - I even got my mum to agree once, that they had a good ability to compose music...not quite her *classical* genre, but she still appreciated the composure. :: Phaze ::

    Piercings?

Blatently Photoshopped..... Look at the colour of his ears, compared to his skull.....
  11. <insert sarcastic voice>Really? Well-I-never! So that's why my 9800 Pro is overclocked, water-cooled & volt-modded! I remember now! Silly me... (Y)" Have you thought about anywhere longer than 1 month??? You card will *very* quickly deteriorate unless you get some proper cooling... don't come back in 3 months and say "My card doesn't work anymore".... A decent gfx cooler will cost you as little as £5 on eBay - I *strongly* recommend getting one.... :) I assume you are refering to OpenGL and DirectX, not the *game engine* or *rendering engine* of programs... ←
  12. The guy is probably sitting on a basic ADSL line, or Cable connection. ADSL has an upload speed of 256Kb max I think. Cable has something small like 128Kb due to the nature of the communications technology. It would be nice if the *host* paid for a SDSL line - then the upload/download bandwidth would be the same (Y)) Freedom2Surf do SDSL, along with ADSL. And the ....nopogo.no-ip.org ..... means he has a Dynamic IP - which doesn't help matters..... Just sounds like some kid trying to set up a full-blown FTP server on their telephone line, without actually doing the back-ground reading of whats required to do so properly... :: Phaze ::
  13. I don't care how much I have to work my ass off... I want one of these cases... Bring on the VapoChill cases....... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Vap...ll_Systems.html The lure of a 4Ghz+ CPU is too tempting....
  14. Built one up yourself :P) I just sold my Proper Bikes Houdini frame...shame, as it would be perfect for you!
  15. If you want to make your case even nicer... here are a few tips: 1. Stealth the DVD/CD/Whatever-ROM - Google for Tutorials. 2. Maybe cut a 120mm blowhole in the top panel of the case? Put a low-noise 2500rpm fan in there, followed by a nice grill to finish it off. All the hot air inside will nicely lift out the top.... and drop case temps noticably.... 3. Possibly put some nice handles on the top? Makes it easier to move it around when needs be. Cheap metal ones from B&Q will be perfect.... 4. Think about water-cooling.....lol..... I've got a kit for sale - MSN/Email me :P
