Only posting as its annoying watching him blame his pads on what happened. If you look at the pad wear you'd see the pad was not set straight to the rim and so repeated force on the backing at an angle would fatigue the backing until inevitably that happened. Just down to poor setup, admittedly I’ve done the same myself.
http://www.rushextremesports.co.uk/product...d=m2b74s30p1974 bit steep, but fox really have set the benchmark for forks across almost all types of bikes.
Ha ha, a Halfords argument, the Tektro IO isnt on the x rated bikes, the x rated uses a far smaller, less adjustable caliper. Also the Tektro IO's are shite, always telling the customer the'll bed in nicely, but they never do, ha ha!
Hopefully this is a joke. The front brake on those bikes is terrible. Tell him to stop lying to you and go buy a front brake worth more than 50p. For the record the rotor is 160mm.
Check with your insurance first dan, but for that price i rekon go for it, worst case you can sell it back on ebay if it goes to shit? I think you should get your car rr'd before and after though just to see how much it actually does....
