DH, 4X and loads of trade stands, with man-made sections going on in the middle of it all, not to mention thousands of spectators from all over the world! Check out the event website here, and particularly the trials page here Loads of cycling going on all weekend with an amazing atmosphere - it really is an event not to be missed! Trials entry forms are now available, you can either download them and send them off with a cheque, or you can enter and pay on-line - check out the website for more information. You don't need to have a paypal account, you can pay through your normal debit or credit card, just follow the links. Camping details are on the entry form, also a list of links to accommodation nearby. Hope to see you all there! BEWARE ... the trials entry gives you free entry into the main event, but on this occasion pre-entry MUST close on Wednesday 2nd June as we too have to travel up there and set up the sections. If you don't pre-enter you may not be able to get a free pass for the event. It's safer, if you're planning on coming, to pre-enter NOW. NSE Posted May 25, 2010 Report Share Posted May 25, 2010 (edited) Update following a recent site inspection: The rocks have remained in situ, unlike last year. Pipes are ready to be moved to the back of the grand stand and the log pile has survived adjacent bomb fires and BBQs. We may have to alter our section plans up at the dam as it has collapsed somewhat so I am considering including some areas further downstream that were explored for that World championship. Expect two days of good action with plenty going on all around both in the village and town centre, with bands and entertainment throughout the weekend. Year on year I talk to trials visitors that dont watch the 4X event I urge you to stay and watch its always a great spectacle and highly entertaining, you have a pass so may as well use it. Entries are flowing in, but the earlier we get them the easier it is for the admin team, so please enter promptly. Full details on our web site. Fred. I've tried getting the editorial team to cover anything trials wise before and we've never managed that.. I'll try again this weekend too!
