Being carbon, surely it will never snap? Unless carbon can fatigue.

I've broken more than enough carbon masts and bowsprits in my time to know that carbon tubes can and do snap when you put a lot of force through them.

Cool idea, looking forward to one getting twatted against a rock :)

'part from that massive bit of chain exposed at the bottom lol.

Looks decent though, reminds me of the limey 320.

I looked after I posted and saw that but couldn't be bothered editing. Even so, I'd like to see the drivetrain close up, and how they stop the chain catching on the inside etc.

I thank you for bringing this to my attention.

However - you left off one important detail, so I went to their site to find out:

"6,795 kilograms !"

How can they put a bash-plate on this? I don't know all that much about materials, but carbon tubing is NOT good at knocks to the side of it, from what I understand.

Land on that plate, all the force goes through the BB-yoke, and (more importantly) that one bolt on the downtube. Surely that'll completely ruin it with one semi-forceful landing?

Seems like an unnecessary problem-maker to me.

Can't wait to see it in action though! Intrigued on the pricing, too. In fact...

Funny thing, the frame on the picture is 5 years old. CHain goes throught the frame too, the BB is about +8.....At that time, everybody thought it was ridiculous to ride. So do everyone eversince, because you need a 30 tooth sprocket in the front for a proper chainline(

I might build it up without chain, if you wanna see some pics.

Monty looks amziing. True innovation

That is Florian Tournier's prototype?

Build it up!

who cares how long it lasts ! the introduction of carbon frames is one of the only possible ways that trials parts can evolve from where they are now .. great looking frame .. super light weight

and the 28 hole rear wheel interests me too !!

Rear is 32 and front 28 ...
