What Is The Proper Way To Side Hop ?

best way to learn is to watch videos and practice..

Have a look at some sidehops and look at people's technique, before they take off they will be completely stationary and balanced. Before dropping their weight down low, and explosively jumping up, tucking the bike up underneath them.

Of course, as the time between the front wheel touching the floor and the back was fast as f**k.

But when people sidehop and it takes around a second for the rear to touch after the front then to me I don't class that as a traditional sidehop.

To two wheels looks much nicer / smoother.

Front wheel then second wheel doesn't, to me, class as a "real" sidehop.

I must agree, when people do it to that technique i think it almost adds another step into the move making it harder.
