Cad Thread

Goodluck with the snailcams ^ ;). Yeah, I've just started my PhD so I'm going to be pretty busy for the foreseeable future... >_< . I'd definitely say AutoCAD and SolidWorks are my favourite programs, as well as being the most widely used I'd say. To get it you'll either have to pay for a license from the company or try get a free student version if you're a student...ahh the perks.

Well I got round to doing a few renders...5 hours worth... :mellow: . Changed the red to green, but used the wrong lighting on the first so the green turned grey :(

Also added a small frame name - 'Weaver' - hard to see though!

Super delayed update. Added pretty basic rims, tyres, and hubs to the CAD 24". Kinda hard to distinguish between the rims and the tyres.

That's as far as I wanted to take it, so I think that'll be the end of this little project. Building a semi accurate frame has taught me a lot about both CAD and bicycle geometry.
