Inspired Fourplay Updated

18 posts in this topic

Since I broke my ankle I thought I may as well give my bike a makeover at the same time as the Marino, besides I'll need brakes when I start riding again till I'm back to full fitness! Was just gonna go for a respray but when I managed to blag some new pimp rims on the cheap things spiralled out of control!

Spec:

Hope pro 2 hubs, Spank Spike rims, Holy Roller tyres

Inspired 2011 frame and forks

Trialtech bars, grips and stem

Hope headset

Saint brakes on JAF rotors

Truvativ cranks and BB

Got to give a massive shout to Adam and Tartybikes for helping me get the rims, JAF for sorting the rotors for me and Mr Ben Swales for the shiny new cranks!

EDIT: Better pics uploaded

That is one of the nicest fourplays I have seen to date!

Why do you have your brake levers at that angle though? Seen it on a few streety bikes :)

Are those rims heavy? They look very stiff!

Pretty awesome looking bike you have yourself there Dave!

I'd be tempted by a silver Hope 70 25 stem but I suspect that wouldn't give you the bar height you need you giant.

Jealous of those rims!

Cheers for the comments, might try a Hope on there. Only bought the trialtech as it was dirt cheap, basically brand new and the onza one I had didn't fill me with confidence!

Had a slight problem with the rear brake so I've cleaned her up.
