Accomodation/ camping can be booked on site from em on entry form.(first come) Discounted on site accomodation rates with free use of all the facilities. Camping on site again with free use of the facilities. Food on site as well if you need it. Please go direct to Glenmore Lodge to book. Camping must be cleared away by 9am please. The Airbag, Clan demo team and more will be on site during the day as well as a mountainbike race and other goings on. The times will let you have some time for lunch and see other things. There will be a give it a go section during lunch period, so if anyone can help out for some of the time that would be appreciated. Prizes for class podiums and some silly spot prizes decided by anyone, ie best ride, best crash. This is where bike trials needs to be, run along side other events to get more spectators and interest. Please try to come along as it will be different. All manmade sections with around a 1000 ton of rock delivered and set up just for bike trials. Glenmore Chief Posted July 25, 2013 Report Share Posted July 25, 2013 Hi All, Update from Glenmore Lodge. Another 50t of rock delivered today, added to the 550t already delivered and 16 tree sections. Add the 6 dumper tyres being delivered tomorrow and we have a cracking circuit. Kevin has already designed 3 of the sections and Duncan Shaw was on site today and back tomorrow to finish off 4 more. Should be a fantastic event on the 4th. Not only do we have the trials comp but so much other bike stuff to enjoy. Check out www.cairngormsbikefestival.co.uk for details of the event. kevind Posted August 5, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2013 Hi Ben, Missed the best comp of the year. Great sections (bit of tweaking to do) and the sun was mostly out. Clan failed to make a clean sweep of all classes. huge number of visitors and Glenmore lodge did a great job of hosting the event. The Sections are permenant and free to use.
