Danny Butler's Crewkerz Cleep

53 posts in this topic

We recently headed up to the Roaches to shoot some footage of team rider, Danny Butler. While the video is still in the editing stages, here are some pictures of his current setup. Very nice indeed!

Look out for the video soon :)

9mm bolt through front hub adaptors - it's the same system as on some MTB forks.

I was expecting another standard looking grey shite kleep, but this is rather pretty for a change.

Looks smart that.

I've heard the freewheels are skipping a lot?

Carthy's changed his since it was 'clicking' into the next engagement while not under load and it was putting him off. Danny's running them on both his bikes with no issues.

Ah ok. Patrick Donovan's was skipping I believe. But that might just be a one off.

I didn't know that these levers work with disc brakes as well. Does anyone know if it works with a saint caliper or is it just for Hope brakes?

He's using it on the rear. On his front brake he's got a hope lever. In the UK it's right hand front and left hand rear :) that's probably what's confusing :)

They really aren't. People wouldn't use them if they were awful.
