My goal was to build the best compromise between street/trials and light/strong possible. I tried to keep everything stealthy black design wise. Decided to try something new using carbon fiber accents. I'm still getting used to it but its by far the best bike I've ever built. The geo is perfect for my riding style. Weight is 8.4 kilo. I've never ridden a bike this light and I didn't expect it to have such a big impact on my riding but O M G !!! Its very responsive and predictable. But I've had to drastically dial down the strength and body language I put into some moves because it gives back so much more than my old bikes. So far so good! I think the jaf ring with the try-all no war crank bolts make a nice combo. I'm not too sure about the top cap though. Looked better in my mind... Building and bleeding these was the worst nightmare I've ever experienced in all my bike building years. The final product. I ran them on my old bike with tar and found that it ripped out small chunks of rubber. So I filed them down and still trying them out without tar to see how they do. Why did you cut it into squares? Totally agree, splitters are and absolute twat to fit and bleed! could have been worse though, you could have gone for racing line ones like I did. The weave itself deforms nicely but not the plastic I used to laminate. I'm experimenting with the leftovers to try and find a way to do a one piece rim tape. They're not known for being strong, and that one looks bent and f**ked already. That a-side, holy mother, thats hawt! Well done on the build. One little thing that annoyed me was the steerer top cap bolt looks a bit gash. Something a bit cleaner would be better. Forgot to say, I'm loving the matching levers for the disc and rim brake combo! Not often you see that. I have a carbon top cap bolt on the way and that link bothers me too. Its not bent yet but I'll be pressing a link in as soon as I get my tool. that's so nice that I'd be scared of riding it just in case I scratched it! great job I know what you mean. A short recap of my bike history. I started building stealth bikes with my second trials bike when I powder coated my zoo pitbull. Adamant used to be my favorite I rode it for about 5-6 years. Sadly I don't have any better pics of it. Just this failed attempt at product photography. It was my third trials bike. Then I went all colorful but I had to sell this one for financial reasons. The fork was a bad decision anyway. And who knows how long the rear disc would have held up. I didn't ride for almost 4 years and this is what I built to reenter the sport. The frame was really flexy and I never felt secure on it. So I made some minor changes to lighten it up and finally had bike that felt good after so many years without wheels. Simultaneously I started drawing up the concept for the cannibal. Luckily I had buyers lined up for all the parts and frames I wouldn't need.
