I got this frame as a spare for the Scotland tour and never used it, I can't really speak on behalf of Karl but I basically offered him that and a pair of forks dirt cheap just so he could try something different as the whole time I have known him he has been on the inspired without really trying out anything else. The geo difference, gearing, brakes, stem choice and bars make this bike totally different and in my opinion he is riding it way better than the Inspired already. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah the disc mount on this is about 10mm wide and looks loads beefier than the older style. Had some parts already and cocky offered me that so I thought why not try it out. Easy sell it if I don't like it. Rear brake mount looks fine, quite thick and sturdy, welds look pretty good. Literally nothing wrong with the frame, uses snail cams so I had to mess about grinding my spacers down to make room for them. It doesn't compare to the others really, hydraulic discs all the way for me. In the right hands any of them can be ridden really well. This is what I heard from a fellow street-trials rider who switched from the Inspired Skye to the very same Because.
