We're already in a minority sport, and now we're picking on one group of riders within that minority who do things a certain way. Using a bashguard was part of the evolution of bike trials. Viewed from the 'outside' (i.e. by non trials riders) you'll probably find that most trials bikes look and sound retarded, and that a lot of the moves (BIU or UCI themed if that even makes sense) look and sound goofy as f'ck. I HATE biu kind of trials because i rode it for a long period of years, way back back in the 90´s and always hated the bash/pedal/every part of the bike grinding everywere, UCI trials is 200% more beautiful to watch and ride than biu, thats a fact. We made a video last year and this year will be no different, just looking through the footage now can't wait for next year....
