RacingLine reach adjustment issue fix?

Hey.

Been asking around and it's quite a common problem for the grub screw on the racing line levers to not contact the lever body preventing reach adjustment of the lever.

What sort of fixes have people done to counteract this? I've actually split the webbed bit of my finger trying to reach them tonight whilst riding haha not ideal at all.

Larger dia grub screw? Or a bracket inside it somehow like what Zach has done.

Thanks!!

No need to tag I'm awake now haha and ill pinch the bits from work today :D

The longer bolts instead of the grub screw method doesn't really work as it's worn a groove straight through where it pushes off on mine anyway

Jacks nut idea does work if you have short fingers but it didn't give me nearly enough reach when I tried it

I've also noticed this problem, I have the red bodies and black blades and the grub screw seems to work OK (to an extent), however where I have them currently is at that "just" point, in me being able to reach the levers comfortably. However when I've put red blades on, the grub screw completely misses. (Must add that I'd increased the diameter of the pivot bolt hole in the red blade (so it would fit the racingline body) so previously had thought it may have something to do with that) - but obviously is a more common problem.

I have seen someone else put a small bit of plastic behind the lever blade, where it contacts the lever body (in it's rest position) - not the most aesthetically pleasing of solutions, but does the job none the less.

Glad it worked for you also :)

Yeah I agree, it's one of those tiny things that only becomes apparent through customer use. Ideallt you'd pull the lever, then do up the grub screw, then let the lever return, but just turning the allen key without having given clearance first seems to make a mess of the body. Racing Line took this on board and have now machined a boss into the body.
