Brought not bought

Has anyone else seen loads of people spell bought as brought?

I don't understand how people are managing to stick an extra letter in there. It's a totally different word having a completely different meaning.

I just can't see how it's become a thing. Is there some kind of explanation behind it?

I hate watching Jeremy Kyle and listening to thicko council estate dwellers say "he textes/texted me."

ITS f**kING TEXT YOU c**ts.

"I text Jardo's mum" is surely a present tense. What version should be used for past tense?

Texes or textes is clearly wrong, but I'm sure texted is valid...

I feel as though 'text' can work in past tense…?

"My balls ached and my stomach churned after I had text Jardo's mum".

I'm sure texted is valid for past tense, it just pisses me off.

"So I text Adam about lunch time."

Sounds better than "so I texted Adam about lunch time."

It just doesn't sound right.

Textes is the one that annoys me most.

It winds me up too, especially when you tell them they've spelled it wrong and they say 'oh yeah I know, I always do that, I can't help it' (or once converted into Chav; o yh i no i alwyz do that cnt hlp it)

YES, yes you can help it, you know you're doing it.

STOP doing it, then you'll have stopped doing it and the world will be fine again.

A problem being, is being able to type fluently. Clicking "send" without proof reading.

I know that first sentence i typed isn't quite correct. I'm on a phone so won't correct it.

When you're not awake too, i know i type some god awfull stuff. We type so quick so it often just goes down how the subconcious thinks it should/ sounds.

But i know my english improved from TF internet pressure.

Theres and apostrophies are the most common ones.

I find using "their" instead of "there" quite funny. The other was around i don't.

Haha. See my error above. No proof reading. Y and W aren't even next to each other!

I don't really know the difference here

Formal dressing.

Formerly is past tense description.

Also, some internet spell checkers are shit.

People who spell definitely with an A do my head in, or worse still people who let it auto correct to defiantly because they really are thick as f**k.

That and people who use "fubar" as "foobar" as a replacement for the word f**k - fubar: f**ked up beyond all recognition.

And on a similar note people who use twoc spelt wrong and not knowing what it means - taking without owners consent.

Stop this, all of you.

And you their/they're/there get wrongerers, just kill yourself.
