I got a new BMX recently and even after a couple of quick sessions at the skatepark my rear hub's started to suffer from grinding (icepicks+micro dropouts doesn't really work) so I looked into some hub guards. Most of these seem to be hub specific with others (like the G-Sport) being more spoke protectors rather than hub guards and then I spotted my oil filter tool in the garage... One of these: 10 minutes on the lathe at work and bob's your uncle. Just replaces one spacer on the hub and almost looks like it's designed for the job! 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
