New Echo SL rim brake bleed?

Hey just got some brand new echo SL rim brakes, and was going to water bleed them.

was just wondering if anyone has any experience or knows of any reason why you shouldn't??

i have fitted them and they both feel a little spongy? is this because they have a oil bleed or because they re more powerful and just making my frame flex???

any help would be much appreciated

thank you guys :)

This. If the pads move as soon as the lever is activated, don't re-bleed.

just checked, yeah the second i touch the leaver the pads move right away, the return is fast enough for me, just feels a little spongy.

can an oil bleed feel spongy over a water bleed, or 100% just more frame flex now?

thank you for your time bud :).
