Road bike freestyle

Not dropping off any of the high-ish stuff he was riding = bitch move.

Some of the riding in it was good but the video was made with none of the finesse of the RBP videos. A couple of random riding clips then suddenly a totally different unrelated location, then suddenly another location - starting off with a team then ending up with some girl on a bench for example. Just made no sense, and without some kind of through line a video like that is pretty whack.

well after reading the above comments i was expecting that video to be shit but aside from the fact its not RBP the riding is sweet as! i would been more than happy if i'd done that video on an inspired 24 nevermind a road bike! im personally not bothered by location at all and who cares if he started with a team and ended up on a bench with a chick? 99% of the videos that are posted on this forum are like this in terms of editing (1 move cut, another move cut) lets just enjoy it shall we :)

There were a few odd cuts in the editing, either a company that don't know how to film bikes or some lines that weren't pulled but edited to make it look like it was (front flip for example). There were some legit good lines and some scary ones, his style is a bit Euro though.

Overall the video screamed corporate....riding that bike can't be as fun as a dedicated bike so I feel he's riding it purely for the money....some might call him a sell out but then again people who ride demos could be called that too......making money from riding bikes is still pretty cool. Just a shame road bikes have been done now.....it's maybe time to draw a line under it all?

Several times in my life I have seen someone dressed in full neon; and every time i was disappointed by their lac of neon socks. But this guy is all about the details, the sock choice in this video was spot on. Neon spandex and aerodynamic as f**k, just how I like my trials.

On youtube search for them

Helpful.

I see nothing of him on a road bike 'this kinda a thing' before 2013. Road Bike Party 1 was released on 9th October 2012. Happy to be proved wrong, but I can't see it happening.

Haven't watched this vid, won't be either, had enough of road bike videos. Novelty has worn right off.

His demos are now solely based on riding trials on a road bike. Sell out2? :P

He was actually doing this kinda a thing way before Ashton was.

Fairly sure that isn't the case. He's even described his videos before as being a 'tribute' sort of thing to Road Bike Party hasn't he?

1. Road Bike Party wasn't even Martyn Ashton's first stab at riding trials on a road bike. If memory serves he did a video on a Raleigh.

2. That 2015 Saxo Tinkoff jersey is quite simply awful.

3. This was a good video with some nice lines (I liked the bench line) but it is starting to get a bit tiresome. RBP seems to be mixing it up a little more.

4. Some of that editing was a bit bizarre. One minute he's on the wing of the plane, then he's inside the plane. Then he's on a bridge then he's in a pipe. I didn't feel like some of the lines finished properly.
