In this Moment i Ride anti freeze with destilated water.... Greetings Posted November 27, 2015 Report Share Posted November 27, 2015 If you have a leaking brake I would expect it to leak the Trialtech fluid out roughly at the same rate as water. It is water based after all. The lever feel on the Trialtech fluid as opposed to water is roughly the same. Some very fussy riders will be able to tell the difference. The point of these water based fluids is to keep the internals in good nick and allow you to ride at low temperatures without having to worry about your brakes freezing. Definitely worth it.
