Saving a touch of weight with a folding bead would be nice if it was available. So two questions: Anyone ride the Der Baron 2.3 in a folding? It's supposed to be around 900 grams, which is a nice savings. From what I can tell online, it has an apex insert, so it should be fairly pinch resistant. But I am a bit worried it might not enough volume. Also, the Der Kaiser Projekt is supposed to come out in a folding version this year. Has it been released yet? That would be a nice way to save some weight on a tire I already like. Conti tires seem to take their time coming to North America....
