kevind Posted May 3, 2017 Report Share Posted May 3, 2017 (edited) Aaron just snapped/cracked a third frame within nearly a year? In my experience getting it welded causes heat around the new weld to weaken that area and it will not last. Even trying to put in a strengthening piece in will not work as the loads are just transferred to an area weakened by the welding. It can also twist the frame if not jigged when welding a major area. I am no welding expert but in the early years when we tried to get welding done it never worked. Big thanks to Tarty for sorting us out a new frame so quickly.
