I have never seen that circular area in the village before, it will be worth a peek when I have wheels :-)
  2. Currently I am running 180mm on the M4, so would look at 160mm to 180mm if using a Mono Trial. I have never used v's for trials riding before, are there any trials specific ones available?
  3. Cool, thanks for your advice Muel. Now I have a few options when I get around to upgrading and won't be going for the BB7's. The Mono Trial looks like a good idea, I will see if I like riding trials with disks, if not then i'll be back onto a rim break )
  4. One of my friends pointed me to Tarty Bikes as I was looking for a pair of cheap trials forks and it was great to find a pair of Onza Tuf Guy for £39. It's going to save me some money for my build and get me back on my bike sooner rather than later. Other than there you could Google around and find some good deals.
  5. The rim is an X717 i think so, it's not disk specific ) The frame has mountable vee boses, i think I will see how the disk goes for a while, it's fine on the xc bike, but will probably downgrade to vee or magura sometime.
  6. Running on a DMR Trailstar at the moment, it's not going to be super light weight, more of an old school build. It is the only set of breaks I have at the moment, until I find some cash for a rim break. But I don't know if the brake is up to the job for trails.
  7. I am getting back in to trials after a few years off, but don't know if it is a good idea to ride using a Hope Mono M4 on the rear wheel, as I am fearing that it might snap or break the spokes due to the forces applied to it. Would it be safe to use it for a short time or fine for a long time? Or should I get a magura for the back (as the frame has magura mounts)?
