I love the colour of the frame mate, attention to detail on the magura splitter is a nice touch. Interesting to follow the build!

How deep is the rest of the axle in the pedal body? I'd suggest going to bearing/industrial supplies/ good tool shop and getting a set of 'easy out'. You drill a hole in the middle of the snapped axle, and then the easy out is very course revers thread that you screw into it, therefore loosening the remaining axle? Try that if no one else can give you a better solution?

Ordering some jitsie airtime shoes, and just wondering if anyone has them and how they compare to say, nike sizing? From what I can work out, as I'm a us13 I would be a 47? Any help much appreciated, as I'm in Australia and have to order them in from overseas, I don't really wanna get the wrong size... Cheers, josh
