  1. Tartybikes come up as the top supplier everywhere I have read about trials! I will order and parts for trial bikes when I can eventually afford one :/ and also a few psrts for my DJ when needed
  2. HD tube in the rear only as a little extra strength I'm not a small/light rider by any means! would just put a good tube in the front, nothing extreme
  3. yeah that does make sense I only run slime in my HD tubes on the DJ bike simply because I ride woodland tracks and stony paths, so I would prefer not to have to walk 4 miles if I can ride back I know if it does burst beyond the slimes repair then it will possibly ruin the inside of the tyre as well, but to be honest the Maxxis High Roller super tacky wears quite quickly anyway (going for a harder compound at the rear) I will fit heavy duty tubes to what ever trial bike I get when I need to replace tubes
  4. Thats confirmed what I was thinking
  5. Do you run tyre slime in trials inner tubes?? :/ I had hd tubes with slime in my DJ tyres just in case of thorns etc but I usually run around 45~55psi. Just wondering if when I get a trials whether to run slime?
  6. Yeah I've seen that before When I see trials riders riding mods or stocks, they can balance nicely on the back wheel. Even in that video, they constant seem to be pedal kicking just to keep the front up :/
  7. Does the geometry of the bike look ill suited to trials? It has a longer fork and longer rear stayd than the dmr dj bikes I believe
  8. Just wanted to upload a picture of my DJ bike Its a really nice bike to ride downhill, and its not bad to cycle moderate distances either The mixed colour scheme isn't to everyones taste I understand, but I decided when I started to upgrade parts, that I would go for a multi-colour scheme The front forks look long for a DJ I know, and yes they are 26" wheels! I think a 29" wheel would actually fit up front More importantly though, does everyone agree the geometry look completely wrong for any form of trials? Oh and also, the bike weighs 16kg...... Asides from its sitting on Maxxis High Roller super tackys (will run a harder compound in the rear when its replaced), which obviously do get worn out quickly on the road, I want to keep it setup for off road down hill fun. Thats why I am looking into a proper trial bike, but I just wondered what people thought of the bikes geometry
  9. I have a half decent setup for my PC, nice for gaming and music Consists of 4 JBL Control One's monitors driven of a high end have amp, and then 2 12" subwoofers in custom designed boxes driven from a separate Matrix rack mount amplifier. Sounds fantastic, but can't turn it up too much or it shakes everything
  10. I'm looking forwards to GTA5 for the PC My system should run it fairly well, but I can always OC a bit if needed My system specs: i5 3570k @3.4Ghz (K spec so unlocked multiplier ) - Watercooled with AIO unit for the moment. 16GB RAM Factory OC'ed ATI 7950 High end Asus motherboard (fantastic for OC) 120Gb SSD main drive Its a good 18 months old now, but still runs newer games flat out
  11. Hi everyone I'm based in Sunny Cornwall, but was just wondering if there are any other members down here?
  12. Hi all I'm Kevin Currently have 3 bikes (one for sale ) I have a Voodoo Shango dirt jumper, modified A Voodoo Malice BMX (upgraded cranks), but am selling it for a trials..... Oh and an old Claud Butler 18 speed mountain bike for really long distance rides.....
  13. I'm just getting back in trials as well I'm nowhere near 40 though my current bike is a Dirt Jump (26" wheels, rigid fork) running 25/12 gearing and its lovely to cycle moderate distances! Usually ride around 4 miles to my local woodland tracks, have fun for a couple of hours and then ride back. I'm most likely going for a mod trials, as its smaller, cheaper and tough (I'm 6'1" and 16 odd stone)....but I'll probably end up riding around on that quite a bit
