  1. After you make a solution of rosin 10% rosin 90% solvent (acetone if thats your choice) put a little on a clean cloth wipe on rim braking area. It worked for me but went back to simple grind. Similar brake set up to yours and same pads, just switched to Echo SL clamps as my bike is not drilled accurately enough to run the Try-all clamps it came with brake power is where I like it now. Might tinker with some more rosin for when the grins is dulling though.
  2. If you go with the 125 X 30 some of this will go away and the front of the bike will feel lighter, and take some strain off you lower back.
  3. PK let me know the OD of your down tube I'll send you a scrap from Forte Carbon (Just like JN's), no charge just tape or zip tie it in place. Oh you address too: My work e-mail is tony@fortecarbon.com We are in Ledyard CT
  4. I manufacture carbon fiber tubing for a living, and with the aluminum insert (which I see) and the it also looks like the upper clamp bolt has a clear radial path your in the clear. Best wishes I have the same forks I picked up used and love them!
  5. So, is this to be used on a ground rim, smooth or either? Very interested in giving it a try. Thanks
