  1. Did a trackday in February, 16c and sunny would you believe. Then got rained off from Oulton Park in March, now going to Nurburgring on the bikes for Easter weekend. Will report back with a POV video of the Nordschleife now I've bought the hero 7 black. Looking forward to seeing how clear it is with the hypersmooth tech.
  2. Got my bike back from it's service.. £2.5k later. Ouch!
  3. Also fitted some wheels so I'm in with all the cool kids.
  4. Aforementioned trolling in the van. I'm not really one for filming whilst driving, however there's no real way to document this otherwise on a drive to work. 2008 Focus ST. Unhappy driver, likely amused girlfriend. Noideahowtoimbed.mp4
  5. Here's one if people are bored / understand electricity better than I do (which won't be hard) I've got a 110ah leisure battery and a power inverter for my van so I can run my Xbox and TV in there of an evening but I'm looking for a solar panel to top up the battery through the day. Will this 100w solar panel be enough to replenish the power I use? TV is 35ish watts at 12v (figured id get a 12v TV so it's less consumption) Xbox one S is about 45 watts, but it's at 240v through an inverter. (Not sure if this makes a difference to consumption) I'll be playing for no more than a couple of hours each week night and the van is always parked outside. So even if the leisure battery was only topped up to 10% less than the day before I would be ok as it has all weekend to recharge to 100%. Other options are a split charge system from the vans alternator, but that's more hassle and I figured I may learn something from asking about it here first. Cheers!
  6. I'm trying to learn front wheel moves. Not sure if the easiest trying to get up to front on a high ledge, or trying to gap to front. Either way, I'm doing it wrong but I can't really feel what. I'm not holding the rear brake as I've read that can make your feet slip off, but I just can't get to grips with the move. Any advice would be great. I do feel that the area where the front wheel is landing isn't big enough, so next time I try I'll find a big flat ledge. Project_10-24_HD.mp4
  7. Oh that's frustrating. I didn't get my valves sorted when I should have, about 9k overdue and it needed 16 valves and an exhaust cam. So they definitely do require the servicing. That's gutting about the forks but it's sadly all too common! Have you sorted replacements? I actually crashed mine last year and trashed the forks so replaced them with some R forks but they are shocking. I kept popping seals on the stock ohlins forks so I'm going to get some of the Sachs forks from the non factory model and install ohlins cartridges. I'd look into it for yourself, although the bling factor is good.
  8. I love it mate. The early ones did have teething issues, they had a recall as the nut on the end of the crank would undo with time but the aprc ones are all good. I've done 20k miles on mine now and it's on 40k plus now and I've done all sorts on it. The front end is incredible you can brake so hard and late and it turns exactly where you want it. They do go through valves like nobody business if left unchecked though.
  9. Yeah too slow, was a high top LWB transit. Just a mobile chicane, even though he emptied it and was flat out. I did get an invite to Silverstone in November with javelin. If I get some decent wheels on, I'd be tempted!
  10. Thanks! Will have to dig out some videos. Yeah I have been tempted. My friend took his van around brands indy but was given a refund at lunch and asked not to continue!
  11. Is this just for cars, or do vans count too? I've got a Vito 120 (3.0 TD V6 from the E class mercs of that era) The troll factor is high with this. ~280bhp and oodles of torque. Will push along a lot of hot hatches. Quite good fun watching the drivers trying to work out what it is! It does desperately need some alloys though. ☹️

    Watches

This is mine, 1973 Seiko 6139-6002. I've got a load of cheaper watches but this is my first 'proper' watch. Need to find a genuine bracelet for it however.
  13. Long time, no post. I rode to Croatia and back on my RSV4 Factory this year. It was sick.
  14. Someone decided to kindly modify the side of my car, bless them. More 'comedy dent' than 'comedy gold' now. On the plus side, the chap is paying for it all cash, including a hire car while mine is in for paint! All is well that ends well.
  15. So I'm struggling with natural riding, I've been getting back into trials doing more street/TGS which I've got to an ok level at, and then I had a crack at natural. I really want to excel in it as I think it gives you better control when you're practicing, but it's really hard for me! Has anyone got any tips? Maybe tyre pressures perhaps? Or some decent videos where I can study it a bit. Cheers for the help.
