  1. Hi Guys We still find it incredible that you are keeping the memory of DJ alive. We don't have any issues with you organising a memorial ride again this year, Charlie and I are very happy for this to happen again and would love to come along too (if we won't cramp your style that is :wink2: ) Matt if you'd like to get in contact with me then please do so, i think you may still have my number or Charlie's they have remaind the same for several years now. Looking forward to catching up with everyone soon. Take care Sue x
  2. Thanks to all of you who made today very special for Charlie and Myself, it certainly is a day i won't forget in a hurry.....when i got home i realised i was sunburnt!!! How come no one offered to rub suntan cream on me!!! Hope that Skoze got home safely and that there were no more accidents. We are both looking forward to seeing all of the footage/pictures taken during the day. And (yep nearly finished) if any of you find yourselves in the Oxford/Abingdon area please feel free to look us up you will definitely be made very welcome. Thanks again Love Sue x
  3. Charlie and I are coming down for the day on Sunday to see you guys riding, where will you be meeting and what time? We won't be bringing a bike with us as neither of us are able to do what you all do but we thought we would bring all the remaining T-shirts we have here so if any of you are interested please come and find us sometime during the day. Looking forward to seeing some of the old faces that used to ride with DJ (and meet some new ones too!) Take care Sue x
  4. Sorry if i offended anyone by suggesting the memorial ride is just about Deejay, of course you will remember ALL the lads that have died from the forum, they ALL had a part to play in your lives and you should always remember that. We remember them daily too, no one will forget any of the situations which caused them to leave us at such an early age. Love Sue x
  5. Hello again, Charlie and I were looking to come down to Portsmouth this year for the annual DJ Memorial Ride in May, but there doesn't seem to be anything being organised as usual. could someone please let me know if there have been any plans made? We know that some of you are disappointed that there isn't going to be an official ride here in Abingdon this year, but we have explained our reasons and hope you all understand. Hope to hear from someone soon as we need to make the necessary arrangements like getting time off work etc. This could be an opportunity for you to support us with the fund raising we are continuing to do to support the planting of the memorial garden, we still have plenty of T-shirts with the FBM bunny logo on for sale. Thanks for taking the time to read this. God Bless Love Sue x
  6. Hi Guys I have been thinking seriously on how to respond to this topic. Firstly I would like to say that the decision we made last year was NOT due to any financial costs which we incurred we would have gladly continued to support the Memorial Ride at any cost. We as a family decided that last year would be the last official Memorial Ride here in Abingdon as we felt that most of the people who used to ride Trials with DJ have stopped riding, whether it be due to work comitments, injuries or just having moved on in their lives. So we made a conscious decision to end the event on a high note with those who remembered a true friend (and those who we have lost since) coming together in his memory. That is not dismissing anyone who may of heard of our son through trials since he was taken away, it is great to see that the Trials community continues to grow. Charlie and I feel that it is now time for us to grieve in private as DJ's death was so high profile that we haven't thought of our needs until now....so we do hope you will ALL understand. We did think if there is going to be a ride in Portsmouth this year we thought we might attend for the day , that is if you will have us? For those of you who do decide to come down to Oxford/Abingdon in June you would be most welcome to pop down to the garden at Fitzharry's school, and even pop in to see us at home. Thinking of you all Love Sue x
  7. For those of you who are riding Oxford today could you please spare a thought for DJ as it would have been his 23rd birthday today. Enjoy your Halloween as I know DJ would've if he were here. love Sue x
  8. Happy Birthday Adam from everyone here in Abingdon. It is also our Sam's 18th birthday on the 30th August - great company Take care love Sue x
  9. Come on you lot, we have ordered the FBM t-shirts for you (we even ordered more of the smaller sizes!) Having t-shirts in stock means that any money we made at the memorial ride is now tied up which defeated the object of trying to raise some funds for the memorial garden. So if you could put your hands in your pockets and support this cause it would be great. Remember it was DJ who started this and it would be wonderful if we could keep his dream alive....no pressure! Love Sue x
  10. Ok guys this is the situation now.... Since the excitement of the new FBM t-shirts at the DJ Memorial ride earlier this month we have managed to get some more of the smaller sizes printed. We really need to know/have an indication of who still wants a top? It will be on a first come first served basis... You can pay through Paypal or send me a cheque (please let me have your full name (forum name too) and address so I can get the t-shirt in the post asap. As you all know we are still keen to keep the FBM going so your support is needed to do that. Paypal - T-shirt including P & P is £13.00 Cheque - T-shirt including P & P is £12.00 Thank you in advance Love Sue x
  11. Okay Chaps (and Chapesses) Following the success of the DJ Memorial ride yesterday I still have some F.B.M. t-shirts left. We also had more interest than we expected in the smaller sizes so we have decided that we will order more of the smaller size t-shirts. We already have a few Large/xlarge t-shirts in stock. We do have a minimum order that we have to place so please if you wish to have one but can't afford it until the end of the month still express an interest. Some people did order a t-shirt to be collected at the ride and due to the demand from those who attended I had to let them go. If you still wish to have a t-shirt please re-order. New Design Black New Design Navy Blue (very popular at the DJ Memorial ride) If you wish to order one please send me a pm. The payment for the t-shirts can be done through Paypal purple_sue_1@hotmail.com The t-shirts will be £13.00 this will cover the cost of postage. I hope you will continue to support the Memory of DJ and all the others who have gone since, Beau, Hobsie,Janson and Oly C. The F.B.M is unique to the Trials Community and we would love to continue be apart of it. Many thanks for all your support. Love Sue x

  14. Hi Guys, Well it's now only ONE week away now and plans for the day are looking good, all the equipment has been organised and the BBQ will be up and running again this year too! The FBM t-shirts have arrived and look great so if you have ordered one please remember no money, no t-shirt! On a serious note PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO PACK SOME SUN CREAM as the forecast for the day is SUNSHINE!!! as there is not much shelter from the sun. We are really looking forward to hosting this event again this year, seeing you all again and of course remembering DJ, Beau, Oli, Janson and Hobsie (and anyone else who has fallen from the ranks.) Please remember that the reason for this ride is to show respect and that means to everyone who is attending too and of course without saying to the venue and equipment. The station you will need to get off at is Radley station, it is between Didcot and Oxford. Sam will be putting up signs for you to follow from Radley station to make your ride from Radley to the grounds a quick one. Safe journey everyone, see you next week (or as i like to say 'only 7 more sleeps peeps!) love Sue x
  15. The weather forecast is changing daily, 10 days is a long way off to forecast correctly...although it is looking good!!! Love Sue x p.s. Don't forget to pack the suncream
