Biketrials has grown, and will keep growing and branching out into many diverse disciplines all of which we can still refer to as "trials". Through the early 2000's we saw the rise of what will later be poorly (but necessarily) named TGS. Many members of the trials community have often referred to this style along with its riders attitude and bike components as the 'demise of trials' and have often said that the people who have adopted this style have forgotten what trials is really about. However, many of these accusing members of the community have evolved their own style of riding, including but not limited to heavily BMX influenced street riding and even more recently brakeless trials riding. There is absolutely no reasoning to believe that one style of riding has any superiority over the other. Any members of the community who are trying to repress a style of riding contrasting to their own, from within their own sport, which in itself is a very niche branch of where trials arose from should be the ones considering their own actions and asking themselves what really is the demise of trials.
