  1. Hi guys! Hope your all staying safe and well..! Been furloughed here, job is impossible from home (I'm a swimming teacher..) so until pools can reopen im stuck off work.. kids are both doing well with homeschooling though I have to admit we are relaxed with it, im definitely not one of these strict schedule mums.. have taught them both to ride their bikes without stabilisers though so that's a bonus of lockdown!! Dreading them returning to school to be honest, I've actually really enjoyed having them home and spending such quality time together, (even if we feel like killing each other sometimes..) I am really missing work though.. gonna be tough going back to some sort of normal..! Xx
  2. I miss the old forum days and people,
  3. Sorry I missed this, and I'm really sorry to hear about your beautiful boy. SANDS are fantastic, well done for your fundraising!! Hope you are both well. Xxxx
  4. And men say women are hard to buy for.. lol!
  5. Well obviously all men aren't the same, lol. Women aren't all the same either but seem to get generic chocolates/flowers/Pandora or other jewellery etc.. Just wondering what presents are good from a male perspective to see if there are stand outs such as the flowers, chocolates for women.. Hence why I worded it; 'what would be a good present for you' just curious as to an all round perspective rather than asking 'what should I get my husband for his birthday!' X
  6. So, considering this is a predominantly male forum I thought I might get a better response than in my more 'girly' forums. Presents. I find men impossible to buy for! What would be a good gift for you? Birthday, christmas, wedding anniversary etc.
  7. Been a while since I have been about, few posts here and there in the last few months.. I miss seeing everyone at the Oxford (specifically the Abingdon!) Rides, like a lot of people have said everyone seems to have sort of grown up and trials got left behind. 2006/2007 was the last big ride I went to. X
  8. Hi Dave! Been a long time!!! Hope you're well. Xxx
  9. Justins house.. (justin fletcher..AKA mr tumble) on cbeebies.
  10. A housing association buy the house from developers then sell shares to a buyer.. we could only afford 50% after selling out 1st house and me going part time after having a baby so we bought 50% from then and pay them rent on the other.. In time we will buy the rest from them.. Once I go back to work full time etc.
  11. We pay £450 mortgage on 50% of the house and then £350 rent on the remaining 50%.. Oxford is ridiculously priced.
  12. Saw trials riding on a kids TV show this morning, made me look up trials forum. Been a fair few years since I've been here...!
  13. Hi, I work for Natwest and OUR policy officially is unless the bank is at fault we are at liberty to refuse a refund. BUT if you go into branch and explain the situation, i assume this was a one off?, then staff are usually quite happy to waive/refund any charges..It depends how you run your account on a day to day basis, are you a responsible customer? do you stay within your limits? If not then of course they're not going to refund you every single time you f**k up.. agree with what others have said, add a small overdraft to the account if your eligible, most are interest free up to £100. x Oh and P.S if you go in and shout/scream/act like a general arse they will probably turn round and tell you where to go pretty much... Its not the people who work for the bank who make rules or procedures so dont take it out on us please!
