Czar (pronounced in the same way as Tsar), is a bike make created by Deng along with its sister companies Echo, Zoo!, Adamant and GU. Czar produce; two 26" frames, one 20" frame and other branded items (such as cranks, hubs, headsets, and bars). These are shown below.

[edit] Frames

This manufacturers first frame was called the 'Ivan' and was a 26" frame available in a 'long' or 'short' version. There are a lot of similarities between the 'Ivan' and the Koxx XTP 26".

The geometry of this frame is: Wheel Base - 1100mm (1070mm for the 'short')
Chainstay Length - 375mm
BB (bottom bracket) rise - 60 mm
Head Angle - 71.5 degrees

[edit] 2007 Frames

In 2007 Deng decided to release new frames under Czar name. The new frames were due out around April 2007 but arrived later than first initially thought. Online distributors began selling the new frames in late June 2007 and they have proven to be very popular.

The 26" 2007 Czar frame was rumoured to have the option of either dedicated 4-bolt mounts or disc mount, but is currently only being sold in the 4 bolt version.

Wheelbase: Short 1075mm, Long 1095mm
Chainstay Length: 385mm
BB Rise: Short 35mm, Long 30mm
Head Angle: 71.5 degrees
Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: Short 655mm (25.75"), Long 670mm (26.5")

The 20" Czar frame has been released in two versions. A disc only or a rim brake only.

Czar also offer a number of hubs including 20" and 26" freehubs, 20" and 26" fixed hubs and 20" and 26" disc and non disc front hubs.

On top of the aforementioned hubs and frames, Czar also offer a bashring, a 4 bolt brake booster, brake clamps, cranks, a headset and lever blades to fit 2005 and onward Maguras
