A headtube on an Onza frame.

A headtube is the area of a bike frame in which the headset and steerer tube is inserted. Because of the forces involved with trials riding headset areas usually feature reinforcement such as gussets to reduce the chance of flaring. Many manufacturers display their logo on the frame's headtube either with a sticker or a stamped/CNC machined piece.
