Tyre levers are tools which aid in the fitting and removing of bike tyres. They are generally small (under 6") plastic or metal levers with no sharp edges (to avoid punctures and pinches) that have a hooked end. The lever end is inserted under the tyre then the hooked end is pried downwards and hooked over a spoke. Another lever is then inserted and slid along the rim to force a section of the tyre out.
