[edit] Frames

[edit] Python 20"

This is one of Deng's best selling frames, popular for its geometry and high strength. This frame was first unveiled in 2004 as a mod version of the already existant Pitbull, made from heat treated Ultra 6 aluminium alloy, this frame has been famous for its unique long geometry. The 2004 Python featured the triple seattube design as well as a bashplate. In 2005, the frame underwent radical changes and yet again revolutionised mod frame designs by introducing CNC'd 'wing' sideplates to replace the triple seattube design, and the 'no bashplate' design which featured CNC'd chainstay yokes with an in-built chain-protecting nub on the right yoke. ZOO! sponsored rider Craig Lee Scott helped increase this frame's success, and a Craig Lee Scott version of the frame (long) was available in 2005 along with the Yao Zhi version (short). In 2006 the frame had an option of coming with a 'Craig Lee Scott' sticker on the downtube, with several minor tweaks that differed it from the 2005 frame (e.g. larger, stiffer one-piece chainstay yoke) as well as only being available in one length. The current 2007 incarnation of the Python is very different to former years' as the 'wings' design was scrapped and now adopts a cleaner and simpler form very similar to the original Echo Lite frame, albeit with CNC'd dropouts, one-piece yoke, headtube, and in-built brake booster.

[edit] Pitbull 26"

The Pitbull is Zoo!'s long standing stock bike made from heat treated Ultra 6 aluminium. When it first appeared in 2003 many riders at first complained of its similarity towards the earlier released Coustellier St. Blaise and it was thought of as only cheap copy. However it soon became a highly sought after frame due to it's modern UCI geometry and apparent strength. The popularity of this bike was increased further by sponsored rider Neil Tunnicliffe who rode this bike until his move to ZOO!'s sister company Adamant. In 2005 two geometries were available: short (Neil Tunnicliffe) and long (Yao Zhi) and marked the first time the Pitbull featured CNC'd parts, such as the 'wing' sideplates, chainstay yokes, dropouts, and headtube. For 2006, the frame was again changed, this time with high bottom bracket geometry at +55, there was also an option to have Neil Tunnicliffe stickers instead of the normal Zoo! ones. For 2007, the Pitbull went through yet another major transformation as a totally new design was unveiled with new geometry available in 116mm and 135mm rear spacing.
