A Zona Zip bike with Onza components

The Zona Zip is a mod bike frame made by Zona, a brand belonging to Onza. Its design is based on the 2005ZOO! Python, although the geometry is slightly different.

They are quite heavy frames compared to others, but very strong. They appear to have a tendancy to crack at the bashplate mount on the drive side, although this crack stops half-way across and doesn't affect the overall performance.

A very strong frame at a very good price. They ride very much like a T-Mag, but the wheelbase is longer.

The frame has quite weak threads so stripping of the brake mounts is common, the bb shell threads are also quite weak so you have to be cautious so that you don't strip the threads in the shell. Also the headtube is prone to flaring as well.
