After a trials lay off of about 15 years (now 33) I've took the plunge and decided to give it another go. Ever since I sold my last bike I've been dying to get back into it but never had the opportunity, until now. Picked myself up a 26in Inspired element, with a very good spec. Only had first ride on it today and have to say I love it already. Can't wait to get out on it again

https://www.gofundme.com/f/nathan-fs-cancer?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link-tip&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet That go fund me page is my wifes lifelong best friend and her husband, they've been through absolute hell and back for the past few years and I can't think of anyone who deserves it less. If you can dudes, a quid is amazing, a fiver is unbelievable for a man you've never met and anything more puts you in god mode in my eyes. Jenny's known Keely (Nathan's wife) since they were in primary school together, they live 30 seconds down the road from us and are just normal, hard working people that have been struck by the bullshit that is cancer. I'm pretty sure anyone reading this has been through issues with cancer, be it a friend, relative or yourself, I've dealt with it multiple times and its devastating watching your friend/family go through it and theres not much you can do other then be there. The difference is this time there is something you can do, as you might read in the story this money will fund the much needed surgery. They've funded pretty much everything they've been through already through their own pocket (that hasn't been NHS) and some of the costs have been astronomical. Please, give what you can dudes, if it means you go without a coffee or dominos tonight, you don't realise the difference you'd be making to a life. If you donate please let me know.

Plodding on steadily. Lots of bits coming over the next few weeks for the EG6, hoping to have it painted in time to get it assembled before summer. 99% sure on the parts I need to build the K24 now so I’d like to get on with that sooner than later. Integra has been flawless. The addition of power steering along with longer ratios and a helical LSD has made it so much nicer to use on the road. Very enjoyable, just needs to be a tad quieter. EK9 is proving to be a paper work headache, being put back and forth between the DVLA and HMRC over which route to go as the previous owner(s) have not provided proof of the import duty being paid on arrival back from Guernsey, which is making V5C application a small nightmare. Mini is largely still as it was a few months ago. Engine work is slow but I have removed a few more odds and sods. I’ve a mountain of parts to itemise/catalogue and more to collect from the previous owner including 3 other 1275cc GT lumps. Think I have nearly 3 complete sets of glass for the thing now. A returning customer has left his CRX VT in for a replacement clutch, flywheel, driveshafts, head gasket, service and turbo installation. Going to keep a record of this as I go on so I’ll update as and when significant progress is made. Going to dig the Golf out of hibernation for a run this year too with a view to getting it sold. Time someone else enjoyed it instead of it being sat another 5+ years.

Hi All, I came across this forum by chance, thought I should make a quick introduction.... I'm still very much a newbie to trials coming from a DH MTB background. A long shot but: Are there any other beginners in the area (Melksham, Wiltshire) It would be great to meet up with others, I've always found that doing so can really push your riding on.

It’s a difficult one to quantify in that way really. As there are lots of factors to consider. I could go out for an hour really pushing my limits and make a real effort try new things. Equally I could go out for two hours and just go through the motions doing the same old stuff over and over with little focus. In my opinion the first session would have a far greater benefit than the second. Im just starting out on my journey into trails and have started to make videos to track progress and keep me motivated to improve. Feel free to take a look here if you’re interested...
